That's a great beginning! I love Mary Higgings Clark's books and I just finished reading Remember Me. That was phycological thriller taken right to the top! I really hope you continue this, it's off to a great start. Evil Covey. hehe. Should be interesting with him in the plot...

After the first paragraph, you drift into your story quite naturally. Fanfiction now supports italics from word (many use this) and I would suggest using them for the dream portion.

The modern language got to me at first... no fault of yours. I'm from the Les Miserables section ;)

i really liked it. it was susspensful, and really intriguing. if i could give any advice or critism at all it would be that your beginning sentences were just a bit choppy. but other than that it was great!!
