hakoirimusume 2005-06-19 ch 1,	abusewow, that was amazing. it provided a real insight into Asuka's character. and it was so sad, but it sounded so real. i can kind of relate, and even if i couldn't, i could definitely see from her POV. very good job, indeed! ^.^ keep up the excellent writing!

I don't understand why there are many who dislike this fiery red-head. I for one, find her intriguing. She has so many facets to her personality. Correctionl in Eva, all the characters have numerous facets to their personality. It's that quality and factor that makes Eva so damn good and corny as it is, loveable.

Not too many people think Asuka's a anymore, nowadays, but there aren't really that many people who understand what she's going through either, even those who are her fans. Thanks for a great read and a really great take on Asuka's inner turmoil.
Jesse 2001-01-10 ch 1, anon.	abuseWell, Gainax must have recruited you to be their "Asuka Cheering Section." For some people, it is "that difficult" to appreciate Asuka. It's probably just as difficult for them to appreciate her as it is for you to understand why they don't. Drop the cross you're carrying for her. Now, for the fic. It was relatively well-written, but lacked emotion and the part where Asuka referred to the Commander as Gendo was unrealistic. Not bad though. Practice should help. I look forward to more.
FierySable 2001-01-02 ch 1,	abuseOoooo dark. sigh Poor Asuka-chan, but u've got her down to a T. I only disagree on one part, and that's that Shinji moons after Rei, but u noe what? That's not even IMPORTANT in retrospect to the fic as a whole. Are your thoughts of Asuka ALL this dark? Is she only an uncertain little girl to u, or does she have _some_ thoughts of happiness at all? Do u think that she is totally submerged in her depression behind the facade of happiness? I'd love to talk to u about Asuka someday :) Please email me or something...
Derek Zischke 2000-12-21 ch 1,	abuseAsuka, as far as writing goes, would have to be one of my favourites. She can be, really, anything you want her to be, given the right circumstances. And for dark intropection, she's second to none-but-Shinji. ^_^ The second person was a good choice, I would have to say, and it looks like you captured Asuka pretty well. Do let me know if you ever are able to get Rei IC for an introspective, and I'll be the first one to read it. ^_^
amani 2000-12-20 ch 1,	abuseWoah...this is a really amazing piece of work. Asuka's characterization is one of my favorite in the series, aside from Gendou's. But she's easier to work with, personally. Probably cause I hate Gendou's guts. But a great fic. It sounds so much like Asuka.
Natsumi 2000-12-20 ch 1, anon.	abuseOne word. Wow! I love introspective, and angst fics a lot ^__^; Well you certainly did a wonderful job of giving new light to Asuka. I'll be honest, I'm no Asuka fan, I love Shinji the most, Rei and Kaworu being the 2nd. However, it's also unfair the way people just call her " " and leave it at that. It's fascinating seeing things from her point of view. Portrayed her thoughts perfectly (or so I think) It's unique and deep, and I'm fairly sure that even Asuka would like it (even if she might not like having so much of herself exposed) Way to go!
