2004-02-03 . chapter 1
I normally have a real problem with self-harm stories, and by 'real problem' I mean 'intense loathing', and I think the reason is that I associate it as an adolescent behaviour. Now, obviously it's not, and I know it's not, but CSI stories that feature self harm somehow manage to make their protagonists seem about thirteen, which is all kinds of wrong. Also they tend to be filled with awful spelling and even worse dialogue. Plus, too often they're simply proxies for the author to talk about themselves (which is fine, in its own special way, by which I mean '** off back to LiveJournal').
Anyway, I've rather missed the point of this review...
oh yes... What I meant to say was contrary to my usual reservations concerning angst/self harm/childhood-trauma fics, I have really enjoyed this series. Plausible characterisation and, more importantly, enjoyable characterisation . (Enjoyable angst? Hm...). I guess we're waiting on, what? Choleric? Phlegmatic? Whatever the other temperaments are, anyway. Waiting with bells on, oh yes.

I like it for the continuation of the problem, showing it didn't just stop.

I don't like where you're going with the slash, but to each his own.

The writing, as usual, is above par.

Just love it and now sanguine start to make sens to ME.
A stand alone story would be depressing to me. But with malancholic, hope arise. I need hope girl, and you gave it to me.
As far is writing concern, you know what I think of your talent!!
So...How's Gospel of Mary doing? Common hours?
Have a beautifull day,
