It's too bad this is to stay a oneshot. Although it stands remarkably well on its own, it just leaves more begging to be read. However like you I always want for more L/G in Slayers, its irritating how the creator (although he admits he isn't good at it) won't move forward on cementing these two's feelings. Either way I love your work, having just re-read it all the past couple days haha. Hope to see more soon!

Hiya. I just thought of something kinda interesting that deals with this and Midnight Blueand this story arc of yers. Suprisingly enough, it is a rather significant issue.
Gourry and Lina haven't said they love each other.
There has been talk of marriage, of being together as a couple, and of sensual/sexual togetherness, even of trust. Yet the simplest of phrases has yet to be spoken.
As I have argued before, I really do think Gourry will say it first. Mostly because he is much more vocal and in tune with his feelings.
Anyway, just commenting to comment.

i love this fic! everyone was totally in character! that's the greatest problem with most lina/gourry romance fics, they hardly sound like themselves, but this was great! ^_^ can't wait for the next chapter
