I check back after absolutely ages in case you've written anything new, and I find this gem. I really enjoyed reading this, and it was nice to see a different side of Snape, a decent side. Remus's reactions were very realistic too. One of the best post OotP fics I've read in a while.

Just like "Prayer of a Child," this was a brilliant piece of work! Yeah, closure was missing from OftP...after I finished it, I was totally stunned for like a day, and then what happened really came to me. Wow...powerful stuff...

I really like how you humanize Snape in your fics. It's great to look at him as a person rather than a mean chemistry teacher.

I'm sorry to spoil this, but why on earth would Snape forgive Black?Because he's dead?That didn't work for James Potter, did it?Don't recall Black apologising, either.Ant tell you what, I'm not a particularly vindictive person, but if someone had bullied me at school the way Snape was bullied I'd find it very hard to either forgive or forget. So, Snape being Snape, I think the only way for him to say he "forgives" Black would be a nice Imperious or a really strong Memory Charm (like, complete memory loss).

That was good. Mostly kept both characters in character. Touching story. At the end of OOtp I was feeling "IS THIS IT" thanx for giving me some more.
