Uh...wow. That was very nicely done. Great glimpse into Legolas' character. Even he isn't safe from the seduction of the Ring, that's good to know. I just love your style and the descriptions you provided is breathtaking. Wow, very nicely done. Write something else for LOTR, this catagory needs more talented writer like you.

Now that's said... wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I could almost see Legolas struggling, the bright eyes glinting with challenge as he defied the One Ring. I also like the part where he defined what and who he is, as if that alone were reason enough to resist the seduction of the Ring.

I think you should write one about all the companions. Boromir would be challenging, but I place great faith in you, Sis. Keep up the wonderful work!

That's awesome! It's perfectly written to bring Legolas' feelings to the front. You have no unnecessary dialogue, and it's great. I think this is one of the best LotR pieces I've ever read.

Very nice. Short yet evocative. My favorite part is the end, where Legolas recites to himself who he is, who his companions are, and lists his real relationships against the Ring. It's not for nothing that the advice most often given to fantasy characters is "remember who you are." Knowing who you are can be a very powerful defensive weapon.

Nice. Powerful ending. Not many people remember that the One Ring probably sought to seduce everyone ... including the Elven part of the fellowship.

Yes, all you Legolas-lusters out there ... Legolas was not perfect.
