i really liked it. it's a weird explanation for sakura's 'inner sakura' and big forehead.

This idea needs so much to be exploited that I would consign the canon and Sasuke to the depths of Hell to see it done.

I'm fairly certain that a triclops has to absorb their prospective zombie's soul BEFORE they die, however.

Lee as a Wu could use the Eight Celestial Gates (which is the name of the path, not the complete technique) without EVER fearing lasting injury or death. The Gates could tear him to pieces and he'd simply regenerate. He would still have to hold back on the higher Gates in order to keep fighting long enough for longer battles, as he did when fighting Kimimaro (but THAT fight would go down a lot differently).

Sakura is a perfect canidate for a Sanjiyan Unkara, with her Inner Personality and wide forehead taking on entirely new but very satisfying dimensions. And with her physically-lacking-but-expert-chakra-using talent-set, she's like a natural spell-caster waiting to happen!

Before I ever read this fic, I had considered what kind of kids Sakura and Lee would have. Lee's admirable physical potential, his talent at controlling his involuntary body functions (like muscle-power regulation), and his skills at taijutsu. Sakura's admirable mental potential, her talent at controlling her chakra (balancing Lee's apparently complete lack of ability), and her skills with jutsu (again, balancing Lee's lack).

At the very least, their kids would be impressive, well-rounded little shinobi, easily as talented as any of the normal clans of Konohagure - the Akamichi, Nara, Inuzuka, and Aburame. At best, they would rival the offspring of even the bloodline-limit bearing clans - Uchiha and Hyuga.

*laughs* I have NO idea where this is going (not very familiar with 3x3 Eyes, though I read part of the first volume translation ... a couple years ago? I'd still like to read/watch more when I've got money ... ). But it's SakuLee which I love, and Sakura's got three eyes which I find amazingly great as I have been obsessed with three-eyed-ness for quite some time.
It's already been quite a while since you put this fic up, so I don't know if you'd still consider continuing, but I would enjoy reading more! This is really well-written and it's definitely an interesting concept ˆ

Thanks for the support! I'm still trying to decide whether this idea is worth continuing or not; 3x3 Eyes has never been a particularly popular or well-known anime/manga in the English speaking countries, and the anime is sort of a few generations removed from Naruto (though the Manga was still running up 'til recently, when it finished at volume 40.)

Qatya: Hmm... not sure if saying anything about this would be more of a spoiler or less -_-;... Ah well, no, Lee doesn't die here in canon... and he doesn't die here in the fic either, but for different reasons...

tell me that this is au and Lee did not realy die. I have not read 3x3 eyes, so I guess I'm not realy qualified to say all that much about this, but, please, PLEASE, tell me wether or not the part about Lee is au.
