Hermione as Snape; very interesting. Nice build of tension. I know JKR blew this universe away, but no reason for you to be slave to that. This is really worth developing as a story. Tagging you in favorites, just in case!

You said that you were just transferring this from another site. What was that other site? That way, I could go to it, and save you the trouble of updating, since we can all assume that you have a fairly busy life, and you can't necessarily cater to the whims of your readers.

Although, if you feel like updating, that'd be good, too.

Wicked writing, this. The harshness of the emotions is perfectly fitting, crisp, and almost painful to read. Snape's, "It was probably lack of moral fibre on my part" is particularly bitter and biting. Quite well-written and definitely intriguing. I look forward to seeing how this pans out.
