i would love to see you finish this story. it has an amazing plot and your style of writing is most impressive. i love the interactions between all the characters.

i know that you haven't updated this since 2006, but not all hiatus' last a week or so.

my only advice is to watch your grammar and spelling. sometimes the spelling is a little bit off. also, some sentences seem to be a bit choppy.

other than that, everything's perfect! please forgive me for the choppy and rant-ish review. it's about five am where i live (new york) and i'm a bit tired.

A very good story. Adding this one to the favs list

Wow what a great fic. I just spent the last 3 weeks reading it for the first time. I couldn't help but read it every mmoment I could.

I just finished reading part 91 of your fic and I can say I'm impressed.

You wanted people to review you and tell where they are from, right? I'm from Austria, currently trying to improve my english skills, you see, apart from learning the basic grammar at school I just learned the language by reading fics and watching animes!

Too bad the fic is not finished yet, I'm starving to read more and I still don't know how you managed to write so much and the suspense never faded, impressive!

The characterisation of Zelgadis is very accurate, it totally matches him, especially at the beginning and the more the story progresses the better I like the way he acts.

Lina and Gourry are a perfect couple, I would have never thought someone could make Lina softer :b but you managed it, though.

But I still have no idea how I should imagine Shiran to be, too bad!

It's a pity that you last updated it almost 2 years ago.

I don't have to mention that your writing style is far above mine, my mother tongue is not english as it is.

Oh, and I don't like the mature Amelia, I prefer the other side of her, the cheerish one, it matches her better and I can't wait to see Amelia and Zelgadis get more personal.

They way you solved the cure of Zelgadis is sure one of the best ways, I'd hate him to be completely helpless.

PS: I don't care about the rating as long as it has some "honour" :)

I'm all concerned that this hasn't been updated since 2006. Please please please tell me you're going to continue it! You almost have 10 reviews! (I could have hit you that mark if I hadn't been to eager to continue reading, lol.) You're a very talented writer and I love the way that you portray all of the characters. I find myself more interested in Zelgadis and Amelia's relationship than in Gourry and Lina's, but then Zel and Amelia are my two favorite characters and my favorite pairing, so what can you expect. ^^

I really hope you continue this. It's such a wonderful story! Please let me know if you will!!

I've been reading this story on and off for a month, and I really am sad to see you have not updated it in the past few years. I hope one day you will, and I'm sure I'm not the only one eagerly awaiting the day you do!

I wish you could have included Naga somehow, since she IS Amelia's sister.

Very good fanfic :-). I love it on how your portrayed Zel and Amelia! I'm also finally glad that Zel was able to become (mostly) human at last. I hope that Kerrin does find a girl for him sometime soon.

Loving this fic! Everyone is in character, with very well thought out ideas about past experiences and how they shape te characters we all know and love (e.g Zel's family and Amelia's mother). Just read your thought on Xellos
"Ever notice that Xellos seems positively cheerful when someone near him is feeling negative emotions? I figure that’s about as close to ‘happiness’ as a mazoku can come. One of my favorite scenes in Next is where Prince Phil decides to try to jump up to the floating land chunk and doesn’t make it. Xellos was tickled--I love how he hides sarcasm in ‘innocent’ comments-- “Oh, too bad. You almost made it, too!” You could tell he wanted to laugh".
I was wondering if you remember his first encounter with Filia when he was loled so much that he fell off the top of the building. I think that may have been his happiest moment. (mine too in Try hehe)

I've been positively hooked on this story for the past few days. :) I love the story, love the plot, and the characterisation is perfect. :) Are you going to finish this? :( It seems so close to the end... You still need to resolve the mini-plotlines of Zel playing his guioline and finding a match for Rin and Filia's visit...And another appearance from Xellos would be welcome, too.

I like this story. It did not immediately turn into one of those wacky WAY-to-lustful relationships. I havent read all the chapters so i dont know about the rest but i highly doubt it and that makes me feel better (Xellos be gone muahahahahaha)

you rock with the relationship thing. Ive always wanted to become an author but nothing i ever write is good enough. My weakness is relationships. i really want to write about it but i havent exactly fallen for anyone or anything so it makes it kinda hard. i guess ill just leave room for rewriting and stick to reading fan fiction. many people here are extremely talented and are a great inspiration. (sry about the fans with messed up heads who think Lina and Zel should be together. That thought scares me to the core of my being. Xellos would enjoy that...grr damn Mazoku)
