| Neume Indil 2007-06-24 ch 3, | abuseOoh, things are starting to get good. :) I felt bad for Talib and Hassan both; sea sickness is never fun, but being surrounded by strangers that you can't even understand to speak with & feeling like poo must be far worse! Ahmed seems relieved to be back among his strange northern friends as well, making the whole chapter seem like the calm before the storm. One potential problem I noticed was that the party mounted as soon as they landed. In researching a few of my own stories I read somewhere that while horses can't vomit, they can get sea sick. One source I read said that armies and such would try to give the animals a few hours off the ship before they set out if possible. I hope, for the sake of the horses and the younger guys both, that the trip won't be long! |
