i realize u havent updated in some time... but i still like it. im very sad to see it has no ending. also ur writing stlye sounds exeactly right. the sounds u draw match perfectly the way the characters would speak them

Excellent fanfic of one of my all time favorite movies. The character interaction is wonderful and the story taking place 16 years later is intriging.

Love it mate. It feels like that movie. Characterisations are very good. I would love to see how this goes from here. BTW 13th Warrior was one of my favourite movies so I am happily surprised that I have enjoyed this.

Ooh, things are starting to get good. :) I felt bad for Talib and Hassan both; sea sickness is never fun, but being surrounded by strangers that you can't even understand to speak with & feeling like poo must be far worse! Ahmed seems relieved to be back among his strange northern friends as well, making the whole chapter seem like the calm before the storm. One potential problem I noticed was that the party mounted as soon as they landed. In researching a few of my own stories I read somewhere that while horses can't vomit, they can get sea sick. One source I read said that armies and such would try to give the animals a few hours off the ship before they set out if possible. I hope, for the sake of the horses and the younger guys both, that the trip won't be long!
