WoW. Congratulations on an AMAZING story! Although this last chapter very closely followed the movie it was so well done you made me cry! It would be wonderful to have a sequel, or even just a short story of a few chapters to see Merry and Pippin make up and also come to terms with Boromir's death. But it could also be left how it is. I would love to hear a little more, because I still feel SO SO SO SO SO bad for Merry!

wOw! This chapter amazing. I can't even find the right words to express how moving and touching it is! Everything was simply phenominal. I hope Pip saw everything and finally understands. If Pip did witness that scene it would explain more than hours of explaination from Merry or Boromir. And your writing is so captivating that I seriously could see and hear and feel the conversation, the kiss, and the millions of emoitons. Congratulaitons! This is SPECTACULAR!

I hope everything gets explained to Pip sometime. And they all stop being awkward and distant. Great chapter! It was good to see how concerned and worried Pippin was when they told him something was wrong with Merry.

That was so wonderful how Boromir finally confided in Merry even after he was furiously trying to escape him. And Merry was so sweet being his pillow:D Their friendship is so wonderful.

I continue to be fascinated by this excellent story. Merry and Boromir's conversation in the dark was just heartbreaking! I noticed that for alot of the dialog you follow the movie quite closely, which makes it very interesting with most of the focus of the story on Boromir, Merry and Pippin, as appossed to the whole fellowship like in the movie or books. It's so great to see everything from Boromir's POV. Some of the things that you write about make perfect sense, but hadn't even occurred to me before. Like Boromir not being really really sad about Gandalf. Brilliant!

Sob! This is nearly as hard to read as it is to watch (not that I can watch that part of the DVD anymore, because I can't). Oh gosh, "His hobbits" and "My King". I just want to weep. Beautifully written, and I look forward to any sequel.

(I have no idea why people write hobbits (let alone Merry) as evil -- I can't imagine doing that.)
