sandybeach6th 2009-01-26 . chapter 12Oh, that was simply ADORABLE! I absolutely loved the story. Fantastic. The whole premise was hilarious, and I liked it a lot. |
 Poseidon's Chickadee 2008-07-06 . chapter 12Aw!
This story was just splendid! |
Poseidon's Chickadee 2008-07-06 . chapter 9Magnificent. The emotions in this chapter was absolutely magnificent, for lack of a better word.
Oh Laura. She was so strong and so broken and I just love how Susan and Hannah surrounded her, both a proper mix of furies and gentle protectors. Those lines and descriptions were so fitting. And brought to forefront the fact that not only did they not reject her for forming new friends but accepted them, and are still very much with her and there for her. I could understand how Draco would feel as if everything were spiralling from him and also suffocating him.
The arse. I love how you have him. So much depth but still that idiot prat who doesn't get it. Doesn't get that there is more outside the box daddy showed him. But that was someway to have reality slam down to him. Still wonder if he's getting it. The range of emotions were plenty but all very fitting and very real.
I could picture all of them in my head so very clearly. Draco and Laura, and her protectors, and the Slytherins. Even Pansy a shell of herself and yet so concerned. I could almost even hear them.
I wonder how forgiving his entourage will when they find out how their prince has treated their queen. |
 Poseidon's Chickadee 2008-07-06 . chapter 8Hermione?!
I guessed it. But I was kinda hoping ...
Anyways. Poor Laura. I. Wow. Damn Draco and his stupidness! I love the ** like crazy but for someone supposedly so wonderful and wise and skilled at the art of deception he is so utterly clueless! |
Poseidon's Chickadee 2008-07-06 . chapter 7Oh wow. Where did this thing with Harry comefrom?
I forgot to mention on my last review, I like how each one reacted to Laura's hug. But about the Harry bit. That was out of left field. Though Hermione's reaction was expected. And funny.
Though Harry's reaction afterwards is a hoot! And so him. LMAO! Wow.
But Pansy was very poised. Just how I pictured her. Though I do admit I would have expected polite snidness but I am glad that there wasn't. |
Poseidon's Chickadee 2008-07-06 . chapter 6Roger needs to die. And erm, Draco making it better was interesting. It happened so quickly. Before I knew what was happening, I get why but it just was like whoa. But the why settled my confusion and just made me want to kiss him. And the way you refered to it again, with the scent of her on his breath? Very sexy and very intimate. It seems to be more then that. Like she's leaving parts of herself all over him, whether he wants it or not.
And I like how it's not that she's "Saving" him, though stories like that do rock, but bringing into light parts of him he rather not question. And the others? That's why I always thought Slytherin and Hufflepuff are closer on somethings then Slytherin and Gryffindor. Slytherins bring a whole new shine on friendship and loyalty. I just love it. And I love how each day of the week there was a new beating to Roger and each beating, and the afterwards, SOO fit each personality lol |
 Poseidon's Chickadee 2008-07-06 . chapter 4Whoot!
I enjoyed this chapter for a number of reasons.
First for the "change" in Millicent. She's still very much herself, and yet I think there is a softer side. She's practical but that doesn't mean uncaring. I liked that she waited a bit before leaving, making sure Malfoy wouldn't do anything regrettable to Madley.
I liked that little talk with the two of them. So Malfoy. So Slytherin. But Huffle got BITE! That dry comment to him cinched it, but I like the fact that Laura isn't some stupid, simpering huffle. I'm a BIG Huffle-fan so I love it when writers give the characters and the house depth. You're doing the same with Slytherin. Which is my other favorite house. So mucho yay! lol All they need is a little attention. SURE They're still be unsharing, sarcastic, and arses. But that isn't a bad thing.
I am liking how this is leading up a lot. And not one glimpse of the trio. Yay! Characters always seem to be ignored when one or more of them are around. So it's good that you're giving the other characters their own strengths, own leg to stand on, first. |
Poseidon's Chickadee 2008-07-06 . chapter 2I've been laughing from the moment I started reading this story. Laura is so cute, damn if she doesn't worm her way into their hearts.
I was researching Laura for an hp rpg, when I found this story. I find it sorta weird that she fits how I had her in my head. Not exactly. But real close enough. Just wanted to share *grins* |
Jane-Lily 2007-08-18 . chapter 1Using big words so many times, might scare many of your potential readers. Mind you, I love reading an intellectually stimulating story any day but the shear amount of words that this contains, which is not part of an average persons vocabulary, is rather a put off. It somewhat stops the flow of the story for those of us not…learned in the usage of the less common words; Having to go back and forth between the dictionary and story does tend to get irritating after a while. Writing perfectly is all nice and good but if the majority of the readers (that is to say if you are targeting towards a big audience) cannot understand it then the effort on your part was for naught.
I do not mean to flame, this is solely an opinion on my part and being one of your readers (no matter how little I have read) I felt an obligation to give you my honest opinion.
That being said, from the summary and from what I have read this seems to be a promising story.
Hope you well in your future writing endeavors. |
Empatheia 2006-02-12 . chapter 12What the hell is a Mary-Sue, anyways? Bloody hilarious, in any case. Cha. |
plzkthx101 2005-11-27 . chapter 12Well ... for a story that was supposed to be a parody mocking Draco/Hufflepuff romances, yours is by far the best. Not that I've seen that many, but nevertheless. I am impressed by the vocabulary effort you put forth in this story. It was witty, intellectually stimulating, and best of all ... Slytherin. Draco was amazingly canon. Imagine that! |
Sherrishanks 2005-03-25 . chapter 12This is so sweet. I read your other Harry Potter fic, Love Lies Bleeding, and I really do love your writing. Your stories seem to be well-planned as well as well-written. You have a talent for keeping Original Characters from becoming Mary Sues even if their actions are Mary Sueish. All in all, well done. |
 Pasht 2005-02-01 . chapter 12Oh God, that's absolutely hilarious. Brilliant. I love it. |
Ms. Cassandra Chant 2005-01-16 . chapter 12 I know that was supposed to be parody, but some parts burned from the Sue-dom. There was no sporking...*sniff* |
Reillu 2004-09-10 . chapter 12This is just total snark. But funny snark, all the same. |
