I've never seen Sorcerer Hunter's before, but I've enjoyed this fic. There's nothing here that requires knowledge of the series, that I've noticed. It's way too early to judge whether this fic will be 'great,' but so far it's decidedly average. Even less than, when compared to your other fics. There's nothing here that grabs at my attention, and makes me eager to read the next chapter. I do like the changes in perspective, between characters though. Starting multiple threads of a story, and weaving them together as the fic progresses, is interesting; though complex to do very well. Good luck.
