The way you characterized Maleficent...shiver...Oo, well, very creepy. Very creepy indeed. Also, the way you describe Riku's descention (sp?) into the Darkness so thoughtfully - it's so awesome for the reader to be able to see into his head. Like, he knows he's headed in the wrong direction, but just...these emotions he suffers are too much to fight against. You explain his weaknesses exceedingly well, too. Anyway, very pretty chapter. daea 2004-03-14 ch 8,	abuseWow, I was very impressed by this chapter. Everything was so realistic and the details were great. I loved every sentence. Mostly, though, the thing that really seduced me here was the way you're beginning to explain Riku's fall to the darkness. Interesting take you have on it... I remember in the game, when Sora lost his heart for that moment, he said that he started to forget things, like his friends, himself, and I see that you explained that in here with Riku. It was really good, and probably the best explanation on it so far that I have ever read. :) Way to go. This story is looking really good so far. I can't wait for chapter 9! Later, Vix

Your definitions are great, too, so it made it really easy to see everything that was going on. :) This is definitely a really good take on Riku's side of the story, and I'm impressed at how so far you fit all of this in and somehow will be leading up to him meeting Maleficent and all of that happening. Good job. And I'm glad you gave Jasmine such a nice role in this chapter. I like her and I thought that was cool. Well, keep up the good work. I love Kingdom Hearts, and this side of the story seems as though it was made by the same people that developed the game. It matches the game's story, and adds more to what happened before. This story rules! -Another Kingdom Hearts fan. p.s. Did you see the secret Kindom Hearts 2 trailer at the end of the game? Beat the game with all of Ansem's reports, all 101 puppies, and all worlds sealed. Riku looks really cool in it. :)
