| jimmy-barnes-13 2008-10-05 ch 49, | abuseThis is one of the best and one of my favourite (if not number 1) Harry Potter stories I have read! It is just so impressive. Wonderfully written. It had everything! I loved how you brought Peeves in and everything! Brilliant :D |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-21 ch 49, anon. | abuseThat was a very powerful and satisfying ending. The whole story was like that though. Really drew me in and gave me lots of laughs and cries. You lightened up a few of my days and I thank you for sharing this story with everyone! Greetings Eva-Maria |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-20 ch 42, anon. | abuseThis is getting worse by the second! Where are the students? What's happening? Oh man... |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-20 ch 41, anon. | abuseGosh, I'm dying with the suspense! But usually this is the point where they pull out the battle tactics and cry out "Iwill not be slaughtered, I will fight and take down as many of them with me as possible!" or some such. I have a horrible feeling that's not gonna happen. What is gonna happen? *rushing off to read on* |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-20 ch 38, anon. | abuse*shrieks in horror* Oh, the other show just had to drop!! *crying* That's so mean, so tragic. I really liked her. Wow. Gotta go read the next chapter. I find myself very thankful that I don't have to wait for updates... |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-20 ch 37, anon. | abuseOkay, sorry, I'm just halfway through the chapter, but I have to say, it is entirely impossible that Harry would NOT know how good or bad Blaises team is. Aside from the fact that they also managed to reach the finale, wouldn't the whole team have watched every single Quidditsch game of the league? For one, it's their favourite sport and hobby, second, they always watched all the games in the other years, and for another, that way, they find out about the other teams' strengths and weaknesses. That really doesn't make sense, does it? But as always, you got me all riled up again; GREAT story. I love it. :) |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-20 ch 36, anon. | abuse*sighs* How beautiful. But that's SO typical, Harry getting himself in a situation where the school suspects him of being a terrorist, AGAIN. What's he doin following Zabini?? That's what he's got teh collar for, after all. And I still think that's awefully kinky... |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-19 ch 28, anon. | abuseAwesome! Just... awesome! |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-19 ch 27, anon. | abuseWhee, I got so caught up in reading I forgot to review in between. It just keeps all getting more and more... I don't know. Like, when you had the new Harry Potter Part 4 in your hands for the first time, and you had to read it straight through, only stopping to eat (and barely)? It's kind of like that, getting more... exciting I guess. More positive stuff, too, nothing for me to get upset about, no tirades and stuff. The collar was a very close call, but the food fight, Hufflepuff Risotta and the "brawling with blaise" parts were all really cool and I just basically kept laughing my arse off. The whole Cho/Harry/Kainda affair is nice, too, and seems well thought-through (Is that a word?). I love that Harry was so great as a chaser! Most fanfic authors wouldn't want to miss the chance to include some harmless main-character bashing by making them lose at something trivial, and it's wonderful that you didn't do that. Maybe it would be better for teh Bright Sparks though, if Harry gave his firebolt to Draco when he's the Seeker? Just a suggestion... whcih is kind of dumb because the story is all done, but there you go. All in all a very satisfying read! The only thing I have been QUITE disturbed with these past chapters is the possibility of Voyeur!Snape with the whole collar deal. Oh and of course the weird dog chew toy, cuz it annoys me that I don't actually have been able to come up with a theory about that. |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-19 ch 21, anon. | abuseVery upsetting. I want a Serenity Candle! |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-19 ch 16, anon. | abuseNot through with the chapter, but I have to ask, just how is Harry arrogant? If he ACTS as if he's the centre of the world, then it's because he's treated like that by, among others Dumbledore. Harry's not arrogant just reacting. He doesn't have a bone of arrogance in his body, I'm sure of it. He is even struggling for the smallest bit of self-confidence in any given subject. Sometimes I just wish fanfiction characters were real just so I could give them a good lecture. *tzk* Og btw. why's it matter that Malfoy's out of the Quidditch team if the house teams aren't supposed to play together at all? He should make up a new team together with Harry! Now that would be making an effort!! |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-19 ch 15, anon. | abuseFirst things first, I like this Snape much better, but I don't really see where he came from at all. Maybe I just didn't get it, but I don't see how telling Harry that Snape was his magical guardian (cool idea by the way, about the guardian angels) could lead to strawberry milkshake and an understanding about Snape not ruining Harrys fun and then an actual compliment on his efforts in potions. Sorry, I don't see it. Malfoy's change seems much more comprehensible, though you don't write that much about him and it's kind of hard to follow his development, but it does seem coherent. Harrys sudden need to ... well please Snape, I guess, or have him be proud, makes sense also, it fits with his character. Something else entirely though: If summoned food can be dangerous, why would Flitwick suggest that Harry and Neville take the huge apple down to the kithens for the elves to stock their up on fruit, especially when they get fresh stuff, normally. Just strikes me as really odd, since Neville being a total amateur there was bound to have been something wrong with that apple. Anyways, unless you make up a totally different way about how Harry gets detention I can see how it would be hard to change that. Just wanted to mention it. Very interesting developments though, the plot thickens and your story stays enthralling throughout! |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-19 ch 14, anon. | abuseHe has the gall to tell Harry "You don't listen" and "you don't even try to let anybody change your stubborn little mind"? WTF!! Really, I wish Harry would have told him he was JUST the same, PLUS Harry is only a kid and Snape is supposed to behave better than that. HE is the immature one of the two, cause Harry's got real good excuses, and I've never heard such a stupid biased summary of what Harry's done since he was 11. The total lack of sympathy for his difficult situation and gratitude for the fact that Harry hasn't run screaming for the Hills, kissing Hogwarts, Dumbledore and Voldemort goodbye, to die somewhere in peace is totally inexcusable. I'm really angry with the gut :( I'd so love to punsh him... I guess it means you're really really good :-P |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-18 ch 9, anon. | abuseThat's all very mysterious. I guess I should feel sorry for Malfoy, it's just, karma and all that... Ron's kind of right. But I have a great "feeling sorry thing", and so I suppose I'd be happiest if they's all be best mates in a few chapter. Misery likes company and all that. But what goes around, comes around. I still find Hermione irritating, though now I'd have to agree with Harry on one point, their BOTH annoying, Hermione and Ron I mean, when they're together. Again with the little parts, like Hermione having all these books with her - I just love that. Your writing style is consistent and interesting. I'm gonna read on now! |
| Eva-Maria 2008-09-18 ch 8, anon. | abuseIt's so great for Harry to be a Weasly, but I'd like to see more of it!! "Auntie Molly" and "Uncle Arthur" sounds really good, makes it more real for Harry, I guess. Well, doesn't Harry ever stop to consider the stuff Sirius told him? He already got the letter, and is taking "care" of Number 12, and it seems he's related to Ron... that should tell him something, right? Sirius wasn't joking, though I really didn't think he would, with Harry crying all over the place. That would have been quite a waste of precious time. Weird for Lupin to even suggest it. Anyways, Heliopaths sound interesting! Where did you get the idea? Wonder what's gonna happen with that. Overall great chapter again! Tonks is cool, and the listening in was just like it is in the books. BTW are Fred and George in the Order? They're so smart and resourceful, and with people like Mundungus around, the Order really shouldn't discriminate them for their age... |
