Good story. Excellent fight scenes, and I always like to see Entreri and Drizzt working together. Now, I'm curious. Will Druia be appearing in your Entreri AU, or other works? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Holly s**t!! This is by far the best story ever. You captured Drizzt's character so perfectly I occassionally forget it was a fanfic and not just another story by R.A. Salvatore. You are an amazing writer and I hope you wrote another story again. This one was amazing. Keep up the good work.

I see this one was posted two years ago and frankly, I'm glad I didn't read it before. I f I had, I would've likely never gathered the guts to try my own hand in writing. :) Enough said.

All else aside, (that "all else" being too much to write about right now, but concernes wonderfull writing style, great characters and as interesting a story as I've ever read... those being just a few things I admire here) that little DNA and short but wonderful leson on genetics really brightened my morning... being a biologist myself. ;)

I must admit that when I read the summary about Drizzt and Entreri working together at an island tournament, it sounded a bit far fetched.

However, you've woven together a fantastic tale. And even managed to kill off all the bad guys :)

This ones even better then your Star Wars stories (which I read quite awhile ago.. hadn't read Salvatore then so I didn't try your other stuff.)

Anyways, this story is very well done. Your portrayel of high-level mages and warriors is perfect. The only problems I can think of right now is balance issues between different fighters.. sometimes it seemed as if you had forgotten just how good even the weakest fighters were. (I.E, anyone there would be a champion of champions.. able to take on half an army of goblins without blinking..) That's just my take on it.

By God, you are seriously the best fanfic author I have ever had the pleasure to read. Insanity. I know you're probably busy. I don't remember what was happening when I was pestering you about writing this fic but I vaguely remember you getting married or something. If it wasn't you, sorry, seriously. An incredible story, more complete than most. Not everything fit actual forgotten realms, for example, pit fiends are actually smarter than most humans, not gibbering beasts. aside from little things like that(btw, tieflings are not necessarily small: most of them are of human and fiendish descent), this was absolutely excellent. A true delight to read!

Otherwise you could probably have asked to publish this! (Have you ever published something? I'd like to read it if you have!!) Write all you want at your own pace. I like long stories, and would really love to write a really long one one day. Since mine doesn't seem that big, for having 20,0+ words, it is one of the longest things I have written. I didn't know that until just then. Thanks for the information!
As to this story...there is a lot missed out on, but it is still a good romp around with action. I am not so good with the fight scens and find them ver hard to write.

I read Art of Entreri over 2 years ago, and forgot about you, David. Now, I just checked back on a whim, and you've written so many more stores! But, Shores of Dusk is unfinished! Please finish it soon! Luckily I didn't start reading it, so I won't be eager and waiting for the last chapter.
