Good use of detail in this story! When Sano waited for Yahiko and kicked off the wall to fall in step beside him, I could picture it perfectly. It was a movement very characteristic of Sano - as was dunking Yahiko right after their heart to heart talk!

The story was an ultimately very touching explanation for Yahiko's bratty behavior. He pushes everyone away to avoid becoming emotionally close like he did with Yuka. It makes sense.

Your story also clearly illustrates what absolute b-s those Yakuza really were, how they lied, intimidated, and trafficked in human misery.

I love stories like this which are true to the anime series, but add a deeper dimension. Good job!

Cool. Of course, Yahiko was was too powerful and was given huge responsibilities in the manga and anime, but this is no excuse for him to be underrepresented in fanfictions, ne?

Wow. What a great story! I simply loved every inch of this tale. If it's one thing I've learned as a Yahiko fan writer, it's that he's sometimes forgotten as a good, no, great character. A bit annoying, I must admit, especially since Yahiko's the strongest ten-year old to ever grace the magna and anime world. This story is one my top list, and I commend you on doing such a wonderful job. Keep up the good work. Oh, about that Yahiko fan group thing, I fully agree. Add my story in it, if it ever happens.
