oh my god. great stories. this fic made me fall in love with aoshi! great job!

wow...soo glad i ran across this story...(i read the other parts of it too, same reveiw applies -trouble sleeping+good fanfiction=fun times at 5am) love makoto (and her protrayal in the story) LOVE Aoshi (but, honestly, how could you not?) the intense scenes between the two were great! conveyed so much of the passion/need between them. soujiroXmisao is Kawaii too
one tiny nitpick: sometimes the language becomes sort of 'modern sounding' and clashes a bit with the rest of the writing, but all in all i loved it, keep up the good work. =)

I don't know what just happened here? O_O I swore I reviewed this chapter! But when I came back to read the reviews, don't ask ^_^;;, I didn't see mine. ::Sighs:: Fanfiction is screwing up again. Well anyway, I just wanted to say that you have incredible talent AND I envy you so much Vash-chan. I love the way you potray the characters you use to be so real. I mean some authors would write a story but their characters they use for it would seem so fake, so dull, but you don't do that and THAT is one of the reasons why I keep coming back to read your stories. I absolutly love them. The ending for this chapter, story, was perfect. You don't need anything else.

Please keep writing. It would be a shame to see a great author go.

That was a great ending.

I'm sorry I couln't reply in an e-mail. Netscape keeps returning them to me. Ah, but a recap of my last review (it was rather long but this will be short).

Erm...I think I said something like when I read good fluffy stories (like this one), I blush and have a goofy grin on my face. My brother took a pic of me like that. Anywho, Seta appearing in Chapter 6 really came as a surprise. I assumed there was going to be a fight (but I was wrong). And the fluff scenes weren't bad either. It was cute when Mako-chan dropped the tray and kissed her Sempai. [thats the gist of the review]

Now this chapter. Misao got a whole chapter to herself...well, mostly. I didn't want her to fight since I think Seta is so adorable with his little smile (though the Ten Ken can kill you with that smile still on his face). He would have kicked her butt but thankfully, he's a reformed man, just like Kenshin. She's very protective in the anime, and you portrayed her good in this story.

I now know where the title for the story came from (or at least I have a good idea). Misao finally got to see her Aoshi-sempai smile. It took some growing up out of that childish crush and hunting down a woman in a picture to do so, but she did.

Makoto and Aoshi just can't keep their hands off eachother. It's so cute! He even wanted her to stay. Seta's addition to the story took care of her having to stay at the teahouse. Now Mako and Aoshi can get married and have lots of kodachi weilding babies for Misao to play with (when she's not off with Seta). Lol, that's part of my own little world. But that would make an interesting one shot. ^__^

Over all this was a very well written story and I'd say please continue but it sort of ended already. I can't wait to see another story written by you, M.A.

My friend pointed out that when I'm reading a good story, I smile, and that when I'm reading something fluffy, I smile. I was blushing and smiling throughout this whole chapter M.A. (there's a reason I don't write fluff >__

I loved the little romantic parts. And the kiss...wow...That is like what a true first kiss with the guy you like should be like. ^_^
Great geat chapter...made me want to go snuggle with my boyfriend...-_-;; too bad he's abut 30 miles away. -_-;

Okay, I just realized how pathetic my first review was. I went back and read over the chapter again, and WOW. There was an amazing amount of heat between them this time- and Makoto was right- it was SOON! I guess this just proves how strongly Aoshi feels about her, no? I also went back and listened to 'Warrior's Blue' with the snogging and it just seemed so RIGHT. It does add a completeness that wasn't there before. (In all honesty, I am not very concerned about Misao and Soujiro, though they would be kind of cute.. They both have that genki air... Even if Soujiro's is fake x.x) I'm wondering where exactly Makoto's relationship with Aoshi is going to go now. Is she perhaps going to stay with the Oniwabanshu, people that respect her and the memory of her parents? Or is this going to be a long-distance relationship where she runs for an hour every day to meet her Aoshi-sempai?

LOVE IT! *Hugs Aoshi doll* He is SO CUTE! But if I can't have him, might as well let Makoto take him. ^-^
