Okay, so I've just finished Chap 3 today (obviously). Well, I thought the first chapters were very good. I especially like your writing style--it seems very mature, and from what I've read so far, you appear to be a very good, developed writer. Good job!

I was presented this story as an old favorite of a friend.
Flattery is indulgant, so far as I can tell, but I've very much enjoyed this story so far. I've found it well written (sans the occasional spelling quirks, such as in "practice" and similar words, but it also occurs to me that certain spellings are regional... it just isn't something I know much about). I've managed to read myself into the early morning (1:27, to be exact) and a painful headache. As a forenote, I'm currently taking Sociology and will not take Psychology until next term. The human psyche fascinates me, surely, but it's also one of the few things that truly and deeply bothers me. As such, I find myself very much appreciating the practical complexity your writing has provided. I actually think this comes from the level of characther development, which is hardly lacking.
I find that, more often than not, I cannot tell just what is going to happen next in your story. This is a comforting medium between "Duh, I saw that coming" and "Where the ** did that come from?!" Again, I think this comes from thoughtful and thorough charachter development. Not perfect, granted, but remarkable nonetheless.
I really appreciate the existance of this story, and I thank you for it. I also wish you much luck in the furthur writing of this story. Erm... yes, that.

Wow! What a beautiful chapter! The setting, the emotions, the fumbling half-truths! The last sentence was especially poetic. I would tell you to keep up the good work, but that would sound to clichéd and unnecessary

Okay so I started reading this last night and I just finished it today. So did Draco lead him into a trap? Good for him! Can't wait to read more.

Ooh, short but good! I liked this, it felt like a transition kind of chapter but it was well written and I liked the middle scene where Hermione, Ron, Harry and Ginny were in the prefects bathroom.

Oh! Oh! Gah! :D That was amazing! I'm stunned. The bit with them in the Prefect's bathroom together, and Hermione needing comfort and Ron unable to give it, and Lucius' games. All of it! I hope you update soon.

I love this story! I know you said begging for updates won't help at all, but please don't forget about this story and not complete it. You haven't updated anything for four months now, and I know you said you are slow to update but I really don't want you to forget about it! The story is at a huge cliffhanger too. Draco made a very important decision about what he will do and we have no idea what that decision was. All this time he and Hermione have been apart has been driving me crazy and when he finally decides to do something, or not do something, I have to wait for an update. Oh well, that is the way it goes I guess. Anyway, I really do like the story. Most people make Draco out as some kind of heartless creep but you really do a great job of showing that he is human and has emotions and feelings too. I can't wait to find out what happens but I guess I just have to pray you get the time and inspiration to update soon. Thank you for writing this great story!

Oh, Lord, I don't know when I read this fic -- way, way back, I think. Somewhere in 2004 or so. But I remembered loving it because you did something that no one else did, and, yes, loads of people are doing that now (difference is bliss!), but I can't believe this fic still isn't finished! *laughs* But I do apologize for reviewing so late... two years overdue. So I should make this worthwhile, shouldn't I? Well, first, I rarely ever review and when I do it's a bit iffy because either your fic MEANT something to me or I'm pointing out one slight complication. I'm supposing, for this one, it's the first.

I admit I need to re-read this to really remember, but I do think I remember the cool novels you threw in there like Dracula (oh, and if I'm incorrect I'm so sorry!) that Hermione gave to Draco to read. I adored that. I'm a major booknerd and I knew that not a lot of people could pull that off in a fic. I also noted that your Draco was slightly OOC, but I still loved it, because it showed his human side. Usually I don't go for Draco-suicide fics because most of the time they don't portray him right at all and that part's the most disturbing. But I really do love the way you portrayed him here. Not too adult, normal. So many fics are trying to age Draco and Hermione so quickly and I tend to appreciate the ones that don't.

I'll be sure to review again once I've reread and fine-tune all of my points. :-) But I had to tell you that I loved it, even way back, just in case I don't remember. And keep working on those chapters, yeh hear? I'll catch up soon enough and I'll be scratching at your door!

That story is great. I can't wait to see whose side Draco will turn to, I can't help to wish for seeing them together again but that's for you to decide and for me to see. And Ron was great while Draco and Hermione were together, being a good friend and all.
