Tylec Asroc 2007-03-06 ch 6,	abuseIt was cute how you built up Shinji's "accquisition" by a mysterious party holding sway over Gendo Ikari (omg, is he shipping his son off to SELEE?) only to burst the bubble with a beauty pagent. I was also interested by your interpretation of the Eva-switching activation test, and its true motive being to confirm Shinji's expendability in the forthcoming Complementation. I never really thought too much of hidden agendas at that stage of the anime, and so it's interesting to see how early Gendou might have been stacking the deck in his favour. He even seems to have Asuka's mind-rape by Angel 15 pre-planned. As a man content with the English dub of Evangelion, I have to agree with Asuka - the continual use of honorific titles gets a little aggrivating, although not as much as Ms. Sohryu's little bursts of Japanese pidgin, screeching "Baka Shinji!", where "stupid Shinji" or "**" would suffice. The insistence on labeling the pilots as the "Children", even when referred to in the singular (Rei, the First Children) is equally awkard, even if it is sticking to the original script.

Wyrm 2006-10-04 ch 1,	abuseHm, I don't think your characterization of Rei's feelings for Gendo are accurate. She slaps Shinji when he criticizes Gendo, shows some actual emotion and animation when speaking with Gendo, and her only keepsake is a pair of his glasses. She has actually feelings of affection for Gendo, no matter how distorted and stunted those emotions might be.

I really love your works, but in reading them, i find two that I really really like, and they haven't been updated in nearly half a year. Why does every author i like take forever to update!?!?!? so hurry up already, the story is too close to finished to stop now! (if you do, i know a guy who knows a guy who can track you down, and find out more about you than you know about you). where it goes from there is up to you ;)

SSJBardock 2006-02-04 ch 17,	abuseVery interesting story. It's hard to imagine that the story has progressed to this after reading the first few light-hearted chapters. Poor Shinji. It would be so easy for him to just give in to the illusion of a life with Rei and a daughter instead of face the dark truth. I don't know if I could turn away from it. But we must often do things that we don't want to. It's a fact of life. I just hope things turn out alright in the end. Looking forward to reading more.

Sorry, sorry, I couldn't resist. How did Ritsuko get to NERV before Rei (from the after party)? I can just see Pen-Pen with a knife... Pen-Pen, Gangsta Penguin Extraordinaire! And who DID win the beauty pageant? Nameless girl #6, who's pretty enough to be in/win a beauty pageant, but slightly less pretty than a hung-over Misato early in the morning? Interesting...I find this story interesting. And fluffy. So good job. Yes, I still am reading this story (as opposed to skipping to the end and reviewing for kicks). And perhaps my therapist thinks I need help too. She'll be calling in reinforcements on the morrow.

Or will you show that ignoring the relevance of consequence is just another form of running away :P? Comments for writing quality: Dialogue felt a bit too formal and strained. Inevitable, perhaps, in a written form. It can be improved, though. The rest is fine, great job in general.
