Wow, that was intense. I was reading it thinking of Deathly Hallows, and then I looked at the date at the top there and realized you wrote this *ages* ago. Pre-HBP, maybe even pre-OOTP. And now that those books have come out, I have to say it's pretty much incredible how close your fic is to what, well, "really happened". I can't stand Snape and I was shocked to learn that him and Lily were friends, and that he obviously loved her, but I very, very enjoyed this fic. Again, super well written and in character and everything. The only thing I didn't like was the mention of how James called Lily names, which I can't imagine (maybe in his early years of Hogwarts??). But awesome job on this. Wow wow WOW!!

Oh, my, word... This, is one of the best stories i have read in forever... It sems to capture what we all know and yet brings a side of Snape that we suspected and, yet, were not sure about... After reading Half-Blood Prince, we were all confused about Snape... But, now, after reading this, it seems like millions of peices have come together... We all wondered if Snape like Lily... But the 'Mudblood' comment threw us off.. But, could this really be it? Could this REALLY be Severus Snape? Only JKR really knows, but, i have the feeling you're her co-conspirator on all-things-Snape...

hm. this is really neat. it's kind of slow and has a strange feel to it, but it's an interesting idea. i really like "I look at him, I see the insufferable James Potter. He looks at me, I see Lily. Lily Evans." and i love the non-l/s shipping. v.g.

I thought you had updated Hopelessly Addicted, but apparently not. It's okay, I hadn't read this fic till now, and I'm glad that I've now read it. This sounds very confusing. Anyway, this was awesome! You totally see a deeper view on Snape, and it's genius. I love this!

I was on the verge of tears with this story. It made me choke up. You have that gift, of course. I have second thoughts on Snape now. I know that may not seem like a lot to cheer about. But it truly, really is. :D

wow. that was so powerful. it seems as if snape did truly love lily. and to actually see his pain is moving. i didnt think snape was capable of love in that way. but hes rite. james potter and lily evans do live on in harry, their son. he has not only their physical traits, but also their characteristics, keeping them alive for as long as the potter line will go, since every ne potter will have a little of lily and james in them.

this is really quite incredible. i really like it. it's so powerful and jsut, really, really, good
