To be honest, I almost left this story behind sometime during the prologue; but I think that may have been more fatigue than anything. But I stuck with it and you had my interest hooked pretty quick with the first chapter. Good job there and I hope you come out with the next chapter soon!

Just finished reading your recent update, and I liked the interaction with goku and gohan. The chapter could be longer as it feels rushed to reach some event in the near future.
Akane/(Ranma-chan) is given a way to regain and grow stronger once again by gohan but the methods of that trainning are left out. You could have done a whole chapter minimum on just how that trainning was done. Also with Goku's lack of real knowledge on females there is alot of things that could have been with him asking questions.
And last but not least don't let a lack of reviews for a chapter keep ya from writting another chapter.

Despite others opinions (have some of them read the sequel at all?) I find this story quite enjoyable. I really don't see too many plot holes, given we know what does happen when Ranma finally remembers who he really is and that the temporal involvement of his future self still shows he has problems with what happened to him. In fact the only thing I have noticed has been some grammatical and spelling errors, but they haven't affected the readability of the story.

I can't wait to see another chapter of this or it's sequel. I really enjoy both of them!

You, you're really taking a chance on this. I like that. And even though I don't know where you are heading with this prequel, I can honestly picture "Akane" having a relationship with someone (Yamcha? Krillan? BULMA? Someone else?). Let's just hope that "Akane" didn't settle down and have kids before Ranma wakes up. Though, if you think about it, Ranma not wanting to pound Vegeta every time the Sayajin Prince calls Ranma "onna" speaks volumes. Is he angry at Vegeta's insult, or is he angry that Vegeta's insult is exposing a hidden side to Ranma? Ranma secretly attracted to Vegeta, but hates himself for not admitting it? Even if Ranma is cured, he would still have lingering effects from having the new personality. THAT right there could easily do a number on his head. And if "Akane" did have a complete relationship, there is no way Ranma would forget about his experience, macho or not. Quite a quandry we got here, eh? Heh.

Your kidding, right? This entire chapter was a slapped together attempt to fix way too many plot holes with too little effort. You've also to give any viable reasoning as to why any of this had to happen in the first place.

And what would that annoying power be, anyways? Don't forget that each persons power is influenced by the person themselves.

One last thing: why DID Ranma think he was a girl anyways? Worst case scenario, he gets confused about changing genders all the time and just settles for the fact that he's both.

I'm sorry to say that the moxibustion is a pressure point, not herbs and heat like you say it is.

Well... I see what's been changed, and it is an improvement, but it's really not enough.

You've altered a couple of lines and thrown in a bit of justification for certain things, but... the overall feeling I got from reading the revised version is the same as what I got from the original version:

I don't like any of these people.

And since I do like most of the characters from canon, it leaves a bad taste to read something where I can feel so little empathy for them.

I have to wonder why any of this is necessary. The point of the fic is to get Ranma into the Dragonball world to have all kinds of adventures and stuff, right? So why do we need to know about all this? You could just have started this from the same place as the end of Only Human's first chapter and it would have been fine, then you could have expounded on what happened to Ranma in Nerima over time as he regains his memories, that way it won't all come in one big depressing chunk.

Also one point, which I should have addressed in my first review - I can't remember if it happened this way in the original version, but...

Ranma is suffering from the Moxibusion and has an inner monologue describing exactly how it is affecting him. Then he meets the punks and forgets all about the moxibustion, despite the fact that he was actively considering it at that point!

And again, the Moxibustion really isn't a good idea. Happosai changing it so that Cologne couldn't counter it smacks of blatant Deus Ex Machina. Happi doesn't even understand the technique enough to counter it himself, and has to rely on reading the counter from a scroll, so him modifying it like this is implausible. Besides which, it's fair to assume that Cologne would be able to figure out a modified counter since she knows how to counter the original one.

Instead of the Moxibustion, why not come up with some brand new technique (or magical artifact, he seems to like those as well) which also affects Ranma's ki to prevent him using his techniques, rather than just telling us the Moxibustion can also do all this other stuff.
