oh god... sniff...that is so sweet... and sad... why does everyone always kill Duo?...

This story is EXCELLENT, written well and fluidly with good detail; I truly have to disagree with the last comment on this story.

It could hardly have been executed better, if it could had at all...it captures the characters very well. Basically, it's perfect. _ Write more!

Well, it's shounen ai, and 12, so of course I like it. However, this is not all there is to it.

Ummm... The phrasing sometimes looks to me like an unsucessful attempt at prose, it's a little overdone. Also, it's never clear when you're talking about Duo, and when you're talking about the God of Death, and whether or not they are one and the same, (literally). Sometimes, ambiguity, (sp?), is a good thing, but it didn't seem intentional in this piece. At any rate, it wasn't relevant to the plot. Because I'm nitpicky, I'd like to point out an inconsistancy: Heero doesn't promise, he says, "But-," and then, at the end, it states that he promised Duo.

On a more positive note, it wasn't totally plotless, which is not at all uncommon, and it was a good idea.

Overall, it was a good idea, but it could have been excecuted better.
