I could see the whole thing in my mind. I notice this was written a few years ago, so I don't know if you will see this review, but it would be lovely if you ever felt like writing a sequel.

While it was well-written, it resembled a... session, (or perhaps a carve the opponent into pieces with the blade of my words, and WATCH him wither with a sadistic gratification session) more than anything else. Please pardon the language. I've searched the web for Nakayama Sitka, and since I have found no relevant hits, I assume that he was your own character? But I liked how Tatsumi takes on the role of a bad- policeman systematically ripping a convict's defense to shreds. =) I find it wonderful how he's so gentle towards Tsuzuki. ^_^

When people cross it over with YnM, with is how I found this fandom in the first place, people always compared Sakurazuka Seishirou to Muraki, but in this light, Tatsumi is probably a closer match, maybe Sei-chan is in between, but definitely closer to Tatsumi. I love your Tatsumi by the way, so dark, frightingly, yet his protectiveness over Tsuzuki makes me feel all warm inside.

I loved this! the characterization of Tatsumi was brilliantly written. ::purr:: Very nicely portraying the darker side of Yami no Matsuei (although the whole series is dark ^^;) I especially adored the "interview", although it should be better defined as an inquisition... of facts that were already in place. ::smirk:: Very cute in a twisted way. Tatsumi being protective of Tsuzuki while still being an icy cold bastard is a definite plus. Whee~! XD

Bekquai 2003-07-31 ch 1,	abuseThe intricate twists of the plot both as revealed by Tatsumi and misinterpretted by Sitka astound me. That was sheer genuis in and of itself, and your Tatsumi made it even moreso. God, he was so cold and calculated and cruel it gave me shivers. I read the previous version as well, and I agree that the revised way is better. Tatsumi just doesn't DO things like telling people angsty backstories, or admitting anything about his and Tsuzuki's relationship. So I'm very pleased that you changed it. So many fanfic authors don't want to admit their fics have flaws by saying, "Oh wait, that wasn't right," and going back to fix it. It's good to see someone who values characterization more than saving face.
Tessa 2003-07-28 ch 1, anon.	abuseSo what happened to Tsuzuki? I enjoyed the interview and took it as a unique way to unfold a story, but I fully expected a resolution, a comfort fest of sorts for Tsuzuki to balance out the harshness of the grilling, and that was missing from your story.

Tatsumi is so cool! I feel so sorry for Tsuzuki though.. I wonder if you will continue this? write more about Tsuzuki's feelings after this whole thing? But still, it was a great ending!

I adore the way you write Tatsumi v so evil and secutary like vv `u` but i doubt he would spill the tsuzuki chan's traumatic past coz..well, that's not his story to tell, right? really, really looking foward to the compainion piece. (really truely goes on for a hour but, you promised touda squeaks)
