I rarely find fanfic I like - very rarely - and I am loving this so far. It's absolutely fantastic. You have Remus and Sirius, my favorites, and I love how they're handled. I love that there's tension there, and how you handle Sirius's darkness. You don't ignore it, but you don't use it to alienate the reader. I also like how you handle Remus in the same way, showing his flaws and showing his selfish side, but doing it in a way that is still very endearing, and very real.

The reason that I am leaving a review now and not earlier is that I simply had to stop and comment on "He Who Must Not Be Named Because He Makes Mum and Dad Cry." That line was absolutely incredible. It really shows how a child's mind works, and it was heartbreaking.

that was really sad. yeah, remus is used to pain: the death of his best friend, the betrayal of another... but it still hurts.

you described it wonderfully. his pain, i mean. i loved:

"It follows him around like a little lost puppy that always finds its home in him."

what goes on in sirius's mind? no one knows. no one knew. but you've told us. sirius only acts like a crazy hyper arrogant prankster to hide from what's REALLY on his mind. to hide from his emotions.

aww thats really sad. that must have been how sirius felt after he had reunited with his best friend after 12 long years. all those years remus had thought him to be a traitor. and now? he's just confused.
