This story was actually really good! I love the fact that we're "teased" all the way through the story! I really wanted to see Riley and Faith end up together, but I liked how you stayed true to Riley's "nice guy" character all the way and made sure they didn't end up together because of that.

I think this was set up really well for a sequel - there's so much you could do with it! Any chance you've considered it? :)

Touching ending.

It's good to see Faith having an in-depth talk with Riley about her future and her future self without the specter of being a Slayer hanging over her. Her self-pity and inner accusations about Giles and Buffy are a bit harsh. But then Faith had a habit of seeing herself as being put upon and not getting her credit. It would have been nice for Faith to want to be herself before switching her body with Buffy, hm? As for being a bad girl, didn't Faith try to push that role onto Buffy?

I loved your story I hope you continue updating because you definetly need to finish it. I also thought it was cool that you gave riley a decent personality instead of being buffy's bitch basically. I hope you turn it into Riley/Faith because that's what is looks like it might turn into if you update. PLZ Update

Thanks for updating this story. The more I think of the woman in your story, the sorrier I am that the folks on the WB didn't work harder at filling in the gaps. Then again, it probably was a deliberate move to make her a cipher. When I read "The Girl's Got Bite" it laid out how many people defined who Faith was while she just stood there blankly without saying a word. So nobody, not even the Mayor, even figured out what kind of girl she was. I think your story definitely comes close. But then again Riley is the one trying to figure out who Faith is. She hasn't let us into her story yet. :)

Oh my god! You killed Spike! You bastard! Nah, I'm just kidding you. I'm happy. I'm really really happy. Here I was, getting sick to my stomach because you brought in Spanky the Wonder Shemp and you have him staked before he can make it into another chapter. This is just what Buffy should have done but didn't. (Damn you, Jerk Whedon!) Thank you. You've made me a happy fic reader. (sniffs) Does anybody have a tissue? :')

I hope Faith points out that vampires, in general, don't die and can also make more. Adam is like a vampire; he's just harder to kill. Maybe it's time they got back in touch with Buffy or Giles on this one.

I like the way Riley and Faith are bonding here. Shared trauma often helps to bring people closer together. I hope Riley doesn't forget about Faith's lapses in the past, though. Just because there's trouble doesn't mean she should get a free pass.

I like the Riley in your story. He is shown to be a man with brains rather than the dimwitted lunkhead who stared blankly when Buffy told him she was the Slayer. People who hate Riley and slobber all over the piece of scrapmeat that is Spanky should read your story.

This version of Buffy is headed for a crackup -once Adam uses Spike to break up the scoobies, she's going to be a mess... which makes sense, as it's having friends that always held her together...she also has a tendency to being a little self-righteous (which comes with the slayer package, i think) so yeah definitely would have problems with Faith-who has hurt her quite a bit in the recent past...

An interesting divergence would be if she doesn't get back with the scoobs, but once the Initiative/Adam thing is over heads to LA and joins Angel Investigations. Hey, she might even get paid then

This is a neat way to have Riley suddenly in the position of wanting to kill a human being. This would make him far more sympathetic to Faith's position. However, I don't think Faith should get off the hook so easily.

Please don't make Buffy out to be a vicious, backstabbing coconut here. We had enough of Bitca Buffy in the last two seasons. :(

I'm glad you're keeping up with this story although I'm thinking Riley's attentions to Faith are a little one-sided. If he can ignore the fact that she wantonly killed that vulcanologist and stole Buffy's body, then he's going to have serious problems with her later on. Riley had problems with the fact that Buffy was physically stronger than he. Couple that with his idea that men are supposed to protect women (remember all the Initiative soldiers are male) and that's bound to crop up sooner or later.

I wonder what's going to happen! Please update sooner! And I hope Faith and Riley will get to the smoochies sometime in the future :D
