Ashley is only half-right. There's one OTHER episode of G80 accepted by all TRUE fans of the original BSG: "The Night The Cylons Landed." The Halloween-oriented two-parter where the concept of Cylon androids was REALLY born!

Galactica 1980 could have been so much better. sigh

This was a great chapter. Especially, with your description of the rejuvenated Commander Cain. I can't help picturing a pony-tailed Jeff Bridges, voiced over by his father Lloyd!

This was a sight for very wary and depressed eyes. I have had a week from hell due to an unexpected death of a close friend's son. Having this work here cheered me up a little. I know I will still have to grieve and offer comfort to my dear friend but this maked me smile so maybe I will be in a better frame of mind to do what I have to soon. Thanks as always it is a great story and it is great reprive from real life right now.

Don't know if you will ever continue this story but I had a thought. There was only one episode of bsg 1980 accepted by fans and that was "The return of Starbuck". Even if it is a rip off of "Enemy Mine" the story is quite touching, so how about a good Cylon? Maybe an old model that hasn't been updated or was corrupted somehow. After all, the old style Cylons had a certain life to them even if it was somewhat awkward.

Forgot to mention, the new Foyager should be called Voyager-A if you're going to stick to the canon. The original Enterprise was just the Enterprise. The (first) replacement was the Enterprise-A.

I can't say enough good things about this piece. I just wish you'd finish it! :) The only good BSG crossover I've read yet because it doesn't treat the Colonials like they're backwards & far behind everyone else.

Please continue this story! I've recently gotten back into the BSG universe and am loving your concepts. I have enjoyed reading all of your stories, plus I really like your style. All of your offerings have been very well written.

Renegade Borg... I wonder if Hugh and the small amount of Borg infected by the individuality he possessed, [they're on that world on which Lore was finally destroyed], would join up with their other renagade brothers and sisters.

That superweapon of the Cylons reminds me a lot of the Forerunner Fortress Worlds [The 'Halos'] and for all we know work on the same principle as it is known that the Flood are an incredibly hardy species and even one spore could regrow to a colony.

I noticed that you said that the subspace weapon fired on Andoria or a full second in chapter 5, but there's no mention of what happened to the planet after the battle.

Hey Ray: you're right about the 30 meg explosion. A standard photon torpedo is close to that range and since the shields of the Galactica and Pegasus have been seriously upgraded to Fed (+) standards, they wouldn't even feel the hit off of the shields and armor.
