that was really amazing. safly enough i know exacctly how it feels to wear a mask on the outside to protect how i truly feel on the inside. it's not to the point of cutting myself or anything that drastic, but i do understand the part about her wearing a mask on a day to day basis.

Hm... you know, a lot of people think that a sign of a good angst fic is whether it makes you cry or not. In my mind, not so much. I didn't cry while reading this as I have for a few other stories but I DID end up coming away with this dull, cold ache in my heart. It's this really heavy empathy for the character that nags at you and can't be soothed away easily. To me that is the signal of a really good angst fic. Kudos.

This is very real. I don't know why, but it makes me want to read it over and over again. I've always had a fondness for a detailed description of emotions, and you seem to capture Kagome's perfectly. So whenever I say that something is "very real" in a story, that is the highest compliment that I can afford to pay.

That was just...*tearing up*... VERY Impressive. I swear, I've only cried a total of two times (count them-two) in the course of my fanfic reading career, and this fic came so close. Oh god, this is terrific angst! Please, write more. You know I'll read more.
