Sorry, I didn't like this story.

If Ash really had the flu, it would take several days to recover. Also, unless Ash and Misty already had a relationship, I don't think it's culturally acceptable for Misty to stroke his hair. A good story needs to be believable. The events have to make sense as if they were real life.

There's no tension in the story really to make you want to keep reading it. Usually a story has to have some problem that the protagonist is trying to solve or overcome with false steps along the way to keep the reader in suspense.

Of course you wrote that when you were still a kid, so maybe you've improved since then.

Wow, this was a rather good one, that's a compliment, not sarcastically. For a story that's seven years old, I'm impressed it's so good.
