Well, I'll be. I disappear from the site for months and months at a time, change up my fandoms, and just happen across your writing and now... here I am again. It's nice to see that you've kept going.

I actually happened across this story once, and I liked it. I don't know if I ever reviewed or not, so I just wanted to take a moment to.

And see, you've got something going that I haven't figured out yet. All the stories I write - until recently - are boy meets girl, boy likes girl, boy and girl get pulled into teh magical. Or teh futurez. Or something.

But what you've done here is crafted something that captures the magic of two people together. You've got a nice balance between telling and showing. I'd honestly tweak some of the more abstract stuff toward a more showing style, but what you've got works, just because I don't know what 'hunger in the eyes' etc. looks like.

That's just me. The story still works though. I found myself kind of hoping that it would turn less fairytale, just to see if the magic would keep working. So. I will be following this further, I reckon.

By the way, just food for thought: 'twas religious people that crucified the Lord our God.

HUZZAH! yae update! Oh man. it's getting good. I guess I'm confused. I thought hiko was against soujiro and misao and now hes for it? maybe I misinterpreted. Can't wait for the next chapter.

seriously if thats the end I think I'm going to cry. Please please by all that is holy and sacred tell me at the very least that there is an anticipated chapter with an update because I absolutely love this story. I don't even LIKE AU stories but I took a chance on this one and think it's pretty much going on my fav's list. I couldn't stop reading until I hit this last chapter. Thanks for the read!

(too lazy to log in) HA! Hiko wearing glasses was pretty odd - but I could actually picture it, surprisingly enough. Misao calling him "Hiko-tou-san" was a sweet, emotional touch too. Great work, as usual!

By the way - will we ever get to see Kenshin in this fic? I keep getting these odd visions of him as the eccentric, anti-social wedding planner.

My favorite part must have been when Soujiro tells her that he's the boss of the company. It's almost like a fairy tale for dear Misao - but it's not cheesy at all, you make it work! I had so much fun reading this fic, and I beg you on behalf of all your readers, please, PLEASE finish this story! You're so CLOSE! You really have something great going here. It's a fic that pulls at our the heartstrings, and it takes amazing talent to do that. Keep up the great work!

I'm sure I'm not the only one glad to see this updated. I like your writing style, simple but effective enough to get the idea (unlike, say, mine XD)as well as your characterizations; a lot of AU SouMi fics I've read don't pull them off very well, but you have ^^
