That was... unexpectedly good. I'm surprised I enjoyed your Severus so much. The man deserves some peace, and despite having slightly mellowed, he's still unequivocably Severus. Harry was Harry, as well: cheerfully impudent, but distant unless pried. Nice writing style, too. It flowed well. Overall, pretty much prefect. Great job.

This is one of the most amazing fics I have read. It got me sitting, staring into space when I'd finished. It feels real. Harry and Severus are real, and I could picture the location vividly although the description is minimal. Thank you, it was a pleasure to read.

That was a really good story!

Excellent, simply excellent.
Whether Discworld or Potter, the ideas you present and the characterisations you write are pitch-perfect. It is writers like you that make me want to keep reading fanfiction, that lure me to dig through the dross to find the Really Good Ones. I notice you haven't posted any more stories recently - if you still have the time and the desire to tell them, please write (and post) some more!

Lovely, original, refreshingly gen. I liked adult, well-balanced Snape meeting coltish Harry, still trying to come to terms with who he is. Harry's comment about actually finishing to see the world in five years' time was hilarious; Snape's comment about Hermione was really cruel.

Uh, and why is it that JKR, and fanfic writers after her, have their characters abuse books like that? In CoS Hermione, the great book lover, had "Most Potente Potions" wet and splotchy by taking it into the loo the trio used as a lab, instead of copying the instructions; and here we have Snape writing at the margins of, apparently, an old manuscript that doesn't belong to him! Why? But that's just an aside :-)

I can see Snape and Harry talking like this, after time and circumstances lessened their hatred for each other. And I can see Harry traveling all over the world, looking for some place where he can understand himself. He reminds me of Ender Wiggen in this, if you've read any of Orson Scott Card.
