Sadomechanism 2003-08-16 . chapter 1 though i am unaware as to what most of the terminology within means (myself having not watched any anime in... eons), the story here is good. the reverie - the recollection of a former paradise lost - is so sorrowful, and inu yasha's tormented gazing upon a similarily tattered love is romantic in its depressing lenience. the tone of the story is a rollercoaster ride: beginning without much depth, a light-hearted parade, and then plumetting into woe, regret and remorse, with the ocassional spark of girlish questioning by the giddy one. despite my usual distaste for anime and the emulatory story, i like this piece, how it exceeds beyond the usual surface-brisking of most writing in its vein, and dares to touch at the unseen pains within. continue to write such good works; but i would personally like to see an entirely original story of your own mind's conception. |
