Awesome story! Really loved how Sesshomaru kept his reserved speech, it's very in character for him and hard to portray. You kept me hooked till the very end, keep writing!

I realize it has been several years since you wrote this but reading your description of your teachers reminded me of one of mine that I had (who I try to forget about too). She was suppose to be teaching beginning algebra. She would get different guys in the class to come up and massage her neck and shoulders because she had a stiff neck. (Guess you can tell it was MANY YEARS AGO) She would always say "If you have any questions just ask me and I'll come back there to help you." The one time I asked for help she made me come up in front of the class and work the problem...if I could work the problem I wouldn't have asked for help. I was in the class for advanced students. I refused to take the final exam because I had already failed so miserably I would be unable to bring my grade up thus no graduation for me. So many students failed her class she had to grade on the "curve" and I passed with a C+...and graduated with the rest of my class. I have enjoyed reading your story so far. I think you are doing a wonderful job in keeping Sess in character while letting his feelings peek through just enough. GOOD JOB.

It was a good story.

You're writing style is strange compared to most and was hard to follow. Beautiful story though. You used the description: "And then somebody would scream, far in the distance, and the scale shifted for a moment, and lovely life groaned, and then it all fell back to the way it should be."-It's like when one loses his/her life, another one is born/saved and the scale of life and death would, once again, be balanced.

Sad, but a wonderful story, nonetheless.

Hi! I loved your story. It was great, but the thing is, it was short. I believe your Author's Notes in every chapter totaled up more words than the actual story. It was a wonderful storyline though.

I hope you aren't mad, but I just wanted to say that you should write more story and less A/Ns.
