Once again, you emulate the feel of the series so well. XD Particularly the section from Gojyo's point of view'; the observations he makes about each of the characters are so fitting and true. I also liked the analogy he made about sleep and women.

I can almost see this (or at least the start of the chapter) occurring in the canon. I quite liked the opening - ...so all it takes for him to get out of bed is the mention of food. How typical of Goku. LOL.) – very believable. XD Aw...poor Goku. (and no meatbuns too!) I am currently mystified by Sanzo's behaviour...

I love this story. It would have to be one of the best fictions I have read. Your story-line combined with your characterisation combined with your writing makes your story an incredible read. The writing plays a big part in making a story work but you don't only have writing but you have depth too. You JUST HAVE TOO CONTINUE.

Holy smokes, and you say you can't write? This fic has absolutely blown me away. Right from the start, you had me hooked. Engaging plot and characterization, with so much suspense woven into the story, it was a true delight to read. There where so many moments and lines that stood out as I was reading, so many times I was thrilled and delighted all over again.

And I just want to say, that the monkey demons were one part that I especially enjoyed. They were just *creepy*, and they never lost that element all the way through.

Sanzo leaving Goku behind... just wrenches my heart, but it - and the entire story in general - feels believable, as much as we don't ever want it to happen. I found myself never quite knowing in what direction you were going to take the plot, and that unpredictability that keeps the reader on the edge of the seat is to be appreciated.

Okay, I can't write a review and *not* mention this one line from the last chapter:

"It's a chakra, not a goddamed emergency button!"

That is just so priceless, it's perfect, completely perfect. ^_^

The only thing that was an issue in this fic, which I know is something that others have already pointed out and that you are aware of, is concerning the occasional minor confusion regarding point of view. Just let me assure you that it in no way interferes with the enjoyment factor of this fic. Rest assured also that your introduction of OCs does not come across as overbearing or cumbersome at all. You seem to be handling and incorporating them smoothly and no differently than the anime/manga itself does. Listen to your readers when we say, "Aki, you can too write, and man, do you ever write well!" And that's an understatement! ^_^

It's been a while since this story was last updated, and I have no idea whether or not it ever will be now, but regardless, I've enjoyed it immensely, and it will remain as one of the best Saiyuki fanfics I've encountered so far. You have my gratitude and my devotion for sharing such a gem.

But doesn't Goku summon his Niyoyi Staff instead of strapping it against his back? That part has baffled me... but other than that tiny comment won't stop me from waiting for your story to be completed, and I do hope you will finish it. And make sure you do.

I've just finished reading all the eleven chapters and you have got me hooked! Good language, exciting story, well described characters. Guess this story got it all! The only thing I could think of to improve is that it sometimes was a little hard to immediately understand which 'he' who was thinking, talking or doing something. But it's just a small thing. I really like the story, and I think you are a great writer (so stop say you can't write, because you can!).
Waiting eagerly for the next chapter/s.

All I can say is wow. I really like your story. And...and...*Tears of happiness* it had the fewest grammar/spelling mistakes I have read in a while, and it also had a flow that I haven't seen in a while. I can't wait to read more! XD
