This chapter was awsome. Funny with the kiss thing, but sentimental with the Joe as a father to David.

Nice start! I thought you might have made David stay and sulk instead of committing "suicide." The rampage you wrote, however, was an interesting alternative. You're doing fantastic with detailing Joe and his actions/feelings. :)

Hey, this is pretty interesting so far. Especially the part where David starts thinking of what Martin said about the toy amphibicopter, and when Joe gets kind of fatherly. So please continue!

You know, this is an idea that's been going round my head ever since I first saw A.I - what if David hadn't jumped into the water? I was disappointed that Joe wasn't in the movie for longer, and to be honest, the movie's real ending was a let-down too.
You've made a great start here, I'd definitely like to read more. Curious as to what's going to happen next :)
