i have to admit i am disappointed i wanted severus to go down with the tower it would have been a bittersweet ending the one he deserved then what he received in the books his last chance to be free from all the eyes that watched him and judge him with no remorse

Good God, if it wasn't sad enough, your author's notes made me even sadded, now I have tears in my eyes. Man, those comments are dead on, he breaks my heart too Reera. This story was extreamly sad, heartbreaking, but it was encredibly sweet what Severus did for Sally. That poor child and teenager! Man, this really brings up emotions, it's a very good story, even if it makes me want to cry. But, I do love emotional stories, so, I love it.

Wow, all your fics are great! At least the two I have read so far are. The ending was so sad and yet perfect. Severus lost the only one who cared about him and he did so willingly. Keep up the amazing work.

Holy moly. It's - um. Wow. Loved this story to bits. Yes, it was sad. I can understand why it breaks your heart and you won't write another one (I don't know if another one would sit well after this or not). But it was stunningly lovely and managed to skate through sorrow without turning pathos into bathos. I adored Sally and thought this was one of the better fanfic Dumbledores. And your Snape was so devoutly pleasing with his earnest and calm acceptance of life not so much on the fringes of society as in another realm.
