In Manhattan, for example, traffic is so backed up thatr the New York Subway got passengers in the 1970s anyway, in spite of being dirty, slow, graffiti-covered, and infested with bums. While the situation is better in Astoria, Queens, there would still be traffic concerns, bad American car or no bad American car. I wonder if Archie would favor the Volkswagen more if he knew the Nazis had originally conceived of it, anyway. ("Hippies and '**'", eh?) |
