kagomesbutterflyfeeling 2008-01-24 . chapter 12Um, excuse me for being rude, but may I ask when was the last time you updated this story, and when do you plan to update next, I hope soon, for this story, is really, really, REALLY good.
You kind of left me on a cliffy, perhaps not one that ended the chapter, no, but to what'll happen in the story. Will Inuyasha and Kagome reunite (most likely, but still) and make amends? What'll go down between Koga and Inuyasha? What's the deal between Inuyasha and Kikyo? When will Inuyasha and Kagome realise they're in love with each other, well, Inuyasha might have come to the realisation, but being himself, brushed it off as nuicense? You know, questions like these.
I love your pesonality, though I can't say I know you, but from your author's notes, you just seem to be someone I like, someone who I could have a decent conversation with, and laugh at some little comments you'd say. Perhaps I'm going into thought way too much here? But still, I believe you when you say you aren't or weren't going to abandon this story, and whatever gap of time that has drifted by between updates, I think it would be good if you continued on. To me, it is very easy to start something, and you could be proud, but to finish it is on another level. To finish something, and to the best of your abilty, well, THAT is something to be proud of. I'm saying this..erm...writing this to say that I recommend you continue on and keep the dream or goal to complete this fine work of art, for if you do, you should and I hope shall be very happy, and you would rest this young girl's mind of what's going to happen next. It's hard to see a incredibly good and addicted story left behind, not saying you've forgotten or abandoned it, just saying that it'd be a waste if you do, I'd like to see what infolds in the future of this story, and how it'd end. Of course this is just me, but for me, perhaps you could consider continuing on. I've been told I'm not worth the effort or the time, so I do understand if you decline, but I find there is no harm in asking, unless you get a harsh reply back, unfortunately I've experienced that too often, but you can never get answers if you don't seek the knowledge and ask, can you know?
...Now, this is a review is it not? And in reviews, or at least mine, I like to explain why I've taken the time to read the author's story, I can be very stubborn and picky when it comes to reading, especially Inuyasha and Kagome fanfics, let me tell you, I browse many stories everyday, possibly skimming over fifty, but I usually only read one or two, and today that ONE is your story, I fine specimen. (I sound like a scientist don't I?)
The characters were put in very accordingly and their roles suited them fantastically, especially Sango, my were you ever so clever with her.
I love the whole thing between Inuyasha and Kagome, you put their relationship to paper almost like the show's, altering to suit he situations and the setting and that to your story but of course.
It is just so amazing, and with each little twist, or piece of advice you introduce, you have me hanging on to every word. A captivated reader I am.
It's just so...inspiring and admirable, I envy you skills as a writer. As I am new to this website (by new I mean have been with them for just over a month but has been reading there stories for nearly a year now without signing up!) I'm just starting on working a fanfic, and am just soaking up the talent that surrounds me, soaking is phrased lightly, more like gawking, you are one of these small amount of people I admire and gawk over, and to be able to read your work is like a privledge, I honestly, dearly hope you write more, post it, and soon too! I'm desperate, must find a happy, somewhat lovey-dovey ending for Inuyasha and Kagome, plus hear more from you, bonus!
As I have assumed, you love to make people happy, and I believe you find making people happy with your stories is how you do it, which gives you a good feeling inside, plus it makes you feel special and talented. As someone who writes, I believe that you should be very 'over-the-moon' with how you story is going. Over SIX HUNDRED reviews!
I just want to say that I enjoy reading your creation, my emotions roller-coaster as different twists and changes happen in the story, I've emotionally involved myself to the story and have grown attached, in other words...MUST...READ...MORE!
But, I don't want to freak you out or anything!
I really, REALLY hope you reply this review, I would LOVE to talk with you, and find out so much more. I HOPE to hear or read from you again! Thank you for all the hard work, time and devotion you have put into this masterpiece, it means a lot to me!
From an addicted and awaiting reviewer...
