I love how you did this story,i think xander should have said everything that he did in the episode because buffy really did take xander for granted this story is awsome keep it up

Now I can see you've got a bit of a Buffy-hate thing going on here, but this one's not very fair. Buffy actually stuck a sword through Angel and let him fall into a vortex to a hell dimension so there's at least one example to the contrary.

I thought I reviewed this one when I first read it a while back, but I was wrong so here I am. I have to say that Xander sounds a little more bitter than I would have expected, but, after what he's seen over the years, maybe he deserves to be bitter. If the whole speech in the first chapter had been in the series, I admit that I would have been standing up cheering.

I have read this one back the. It is simply fantastic. Awesome, and the characterizations spot on!

Well the same people still died but strangely I don't mind so much. Like the Angel Xander convo at the end. And those guns are/were a great frickin idea.

It's not "Anaya" it's "Anya." But that's a minor cavil. Great story and thanks for the show of strength from Xander although it came with a really bilious attack on Buffy.

Um, Xander is forgetting that if he hadn't brought Buffy back to life, the Master would have brought that Hellbeast up into Sunnydale and everything would have gone to hell in a handbasket.

Oh my. That was a little crass and mean, even for Xander. I know he and Angel have never been friends but I thought he could see the bigger picture here.

Good chapter and a good end for this story. It is a end and yet leavces enough room for a follow-up or for the reader to immagine how it could go on.

I'm not sure about Xander being so adamant against Buffy (at least for long) I think I still see the potential and goodness that was in Buffy in the first seasons before she got destroyed by ME. With (a lot of) effort on both sides I think they yould rebuild at least part of their friendship - maybe something you could take a look at in a follow-up fic.

This is disturbing. I'm not sure it that's a good or a bad thing yet.

I really like Xander. He's one of my favorite characters and too often got the short end of the stick. And I was one of many who had to hit the Mute button and cover my eyes when he lost his eye. It was so frustrating to watch Joss keep him on the bench for Seasons 6 and 7. Even when we did see him, he was angrier and more bitter than the Xander we'd seen in earlier seasons.

But this? I mean, you have to know this isn't Xander. It's some sort of Xander shaped character pretending to be Xander - maybe the First Evil. If you've watched the show at all, you've gotta know how completely out of character this is. I would have liked to see him stand up for himself a bit more the last few years. But he didn't. And unfortunately - that's canon. That's 'in character' as decided by Joss.

Writing this was probably very cathartic for you. Getting all that frustration vented. Cause it's you ranting - not Xander. And I won't go into his weapons knowledge or "accessing the hyena" because I'm sure you know that's so far off the canon screen that it's not remotely believeable. Again, I'm sure you know that too. So, kudos for getting all that off your chest and here's to hoping you go on to write Xander fic that actually has Xander in it.
