The illogcal, sensitive side of me yearns for Lucius to retern her feelings, but the rational side claims that this is the be all end all of this story and nothing will ever happen. One can still hope though...

as i haven't read many HG/LM fics it's difficult to comment, but this was a particularly interesting view into the percieved mind of Lucius Malfoy. very well written and i only noticed one typing error (the r left off of labour when taking about his hands). very well done

Uh... I loved this story! :) Once I started, I was unable to stop, honestly ;). Your characters are... believable (but so unique!), complex, convincing? It doesn't say enough. really..
The huge problem with most stories here on FFN is that the storyline happens too fast to be possible, so many authors are just too eager to write the main plot which makes the stories unconvincing and precipitous. They lack atmosphere.
But here.. you can feel the development between the two of them (and within Hermione - maybe I'll also see one within Lucius as well when I read it a second time ;) ), and the reader would fear for Hermione's soul wasn't he lost himself, at least that's what happened to me.

I hope I made my points clear... please excuse the grammar mistakes as english is not my first language.

While I tend to be partial to fluffy endings, I feel that this story is perfectly ended.

I wholly loved it and have not much else I can say! XD I'm speechless, and trust me, that's a huge deal.

Wonderful story. I loved the way you managed to keep both Hermione and Lucius completely in character; it made it all the more fascinating to read. The ending was very bittersweet. Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading more from you.
