Alan is awesomely epic. Love this story and the other Crescent Moon stories as well. Keep up the good work!

Technicalities.

First, he can't. James resigned himself to his fate, and he's got business elsewhere.

Second, Alan's powers flex. He can't do everything all the time: he flat forgets he can do things, and he won't do it if he doesn't feel it's right. How can he let his fearless leader be depressed?

Of course, since he's a BARD, even if he's multiclassing, he shouldn't be able to resurrect people at all. But he's also an immortal outsider, so I won't go any farther into D&D rules :)

This keeps getting better and better. I loved the draconic Falco scene.
