Wow!

This is very cute, all these Elflings playing like kids at a swimming pool. But since I have gone from Knife's Edge straight to this one, I'm feeling like there's an awful lot missing in between. For eg. I'm really wanting to hear about Thranduil growing to become kingly, and when he becomes an ada for the first time. I'd really like to see Celebross and Aralith as babies; I think that would also give us a chance to see and learn more about Brenilass. Perhaps a mushy sweet reunion between Thranduil and Brenilass (PG rated, of course! lol) when he comes home from the War? You could begin that tale when Celebross is born, and have Thranduil reflect on how happy he was to be reunited with his wife, and how overjoyed he is to be an ada, and how he feels when the baby arrives. I hope that's a nice plotbunny for you - my 22nd birthday is on September 10 so if you feel like being nice... ;)

"They were his friends after all, and had been since Brethil had been a mere toddling three year old with the penchant for sucking on his forefinger and they had their first adventure together..." - lol, I'd very much like to hear about that adventure! Sounds cute. The story about the giant mouse is gorgeous too. I like to hear about Bronadui being an ada, especially after reading about him in the last story. He sounds like a good ada.

Legolas is funny, convined a dragon would make a marvellous pet! And then realising too late that there are no good dragons. :) It's not a dragon though, is it? It's Mithrandir, yeah? Isn't it? I swear that's an honest guess, I haven't read ahead or anything.

As I read the first paragraph after they meet the "dragon", where Thranduil is surveying the preparations for the Midsummer Celebration, I can't help but notice that these Wood-Elves are always having parties. Aren't they? All the time, all the time. I get the feeling King Thranduil would attend the opening of an envelope, don't you? (You may use that line in one of your stories, btw, lol).

aw...Thranduil putting the rose in Brenilass' hair is very sweet. I can't help but imagine him putting the rose in his teeth though and doing the tango with her...I do very much like a tango-dancing King.

So Heledir is Tavor's father? Cool! Didn't know that. Wasn't Filigod Heledir's little brother? If so, that's quite nice that Heledir and Bronadui, and now their sons, are friends.

Poor Galion, what did he do to deserve this teasing? :)

You know what, I am wondering that if this is the punishment Galion gets for saying life is dull, what is the punishment for getting drunk, falling asleep and letting prisoners escape through the barrel door? ;) He would have got his lil butt kicked.

I wonder what Elrond does when someone complains of a boring job in Rivendell... surely making them spend a day with Arwen could stand equal to Galion's dragon adventure.
