I believe the Professor would have approved of your choice of a name, heh.

Honestly, if the Sue writers had any brains they'd figure out that the inhabitants of Middle-Earth would not truly put up with them...

Silver hair...Movie-verse...*twitch twitch* But that's just the nitpick in me. Um, well, since Celeborn WAS called "kinsman of Thingol" I guess he would be of a somewhat different, more elegant, sort of...mood, or something other than breed. Breed seems a rather..coarse word to use for elves. Or Tolkien's Elves at least. I like the way you wrote the Lady Galadriel and Celeborn's relationship here very much. The love portrayed was/is very poignant and true. The twist at the end (if it is a twist, I do not know what things like that are called. A quirke?) is very enjoyable. Umm, well, while I DO realise that the focus of this story is on Galadriel and Celeborn's relationship and how they are faithful to each other, you *have* thought of Melian and Thingol right? If only Elu Thingol could've appeared out of nowhere...afterall, the MarySue also insulted his relationship with Melian. And Melian would also have been angry I think, as she had taken Galadriel under her mentorship-of-sorts. You know, MS insulted the trust between her and Galadriel.

Celeborn was downright splendid in this tale. Quite.
I enjoyed this immensely. I always thought Sues should meet such an end as this. This made me giggle.
Lord Celeborn did not deserve such an annoyance as this... abomination of a woman.

In all, very well written. I quite enjoyed this. Thank you.

Lord Celeborn doesn't get much attention in the book so it's always kind of hard to tell wheather (weather whether?*looks a little brother* Eric, take the toe ring OFF!)he's in character. But I thought it was rather good. Celeborn and Legolas have always been my Favorite characters (*eric did i or did I not just tell you to remove the toe ring *rolls eyes* god your stupid) because Tolkien doesn't tell you much about them. (*sighs deeply*)Anyway, great job. Annamarie (*sniggers and heads to find some cheese*)

This was wonderful!
Celeborn, indeed, kicks butt. An inelegant phrase, true, but it suffices!
Are you going to do more along the same lines? Perhaps we could hear from more abused, 'Sued (no pun intended) Elves!

Ah, another sweet story of revenge. Go Celeborn!
The Lord of Lorien seemed in character to me, right unto the very ending -- slash, hack, slice. Wonderful execution there, would have loved to see it. Let's hear it for Elven might, eh?
Any chance of seeing Haldir the Arrogant get some? Or perhaps Elrond's 'Nazgul eyebrows' netting a victim? (Begs, pleads, grovels)

Yes. Yes! YES!
Lord Celeborn does, indeed, kick butt. And this story is just so perfect in any way. Maybe the writing is a bit florid in the beginning, but other than that... it's in character, it's beautiful, it's almost Tolkien. Lady Galadriel has always been one of my heroes (we're not related though, thank the Valar), and her husband is... awesome.
What an incredibly despicable 'Sue.
Oh well. I hate the Mary Sue scourge as much as you or anyone, but it has inspired you to write this. That makes up for much.

Yay! Go Celeborn! You're so right - he is just fabulous when he's riled, and the thought of Galadriel and Elu Thingol having a secret love child is enough to rile anyone (though to be honest it's probably the best 'other daughter of Galadriel' Sue background I've seen ;) )
Annamarie - what a fabulous Quenya name! I would never have guessed it without the accent on the e.
As for Celeborn's character, it seems perfect to me. I've never bought into this idea that he was particularly calm myself - seeing as *he's* the one who flies off the handle at the news of Gandalf's death, so him getting seriously PO'd over some creature insulting both his wife and his king is not stretching it at all.
Reasonably crazy

I must stop reading. I have the great urge to go kill a Sue... and we all know killing's bad.
*clutches head* Jesus says so! Jesus says so! Jesus says so!

It's okay, I see now... I'm just delivering justice.
Muahahahaha!
Dang, there's that weird laugh AGAIN!

DO ONE WITH ELROND...
He NEEDS it...
I will review every one of these stories with this message.
I appreciate these stories incredibly. Not only is Mary Sue drawn and quartered in deliciously vengeful ways, you're funny about it.
Sorry for the short reviews...
