mcgurrin 5/21/06 . chapter 11i like it and hope to see a sequel in you auther profile |
Simply Myself 9/29/03 . chapter 11What do you mean *if* there isn't sufficient interest? Anyone who hasn't read at least one of your stories should be turned over to the Bloody Cutlass for torture night (hopefully for my personal favorite: Swedish Meatballs and a Rose Bush).
Anyway, there *is* sufficient interest *glares at ff.net'ers* Right?
You know, I thought that you were going to kill one of Gary's loves (just to simplify the choice thing and avoid a Shakespearean agony monologue), but having Marina not dead after all...the plot thickens...even more.
Again, your writing style and descriptive abilities (not to mention your proofreading) have improved exponentially from the first fic. (Which I also loved by the way - have I mentioned that yet?)
Love ya babe,

Kye 9/25/03 . chapter 11 More! Must have more! This series is incredible! Besides, you can't end a story with a cliffhanger and not post a sequel. |
 The Fire Dancer 9/25/03 . chapter 11Sequel?
Hell yes! |
miss-scarlett1 9/25/03 . chapter 11YES, THERE IS SUFFICIENT INTEREST! That was a brilliant sequel and I can't wait for the next one. Even if the interest has gone down since the first story (which to be fair was the best one) I've been reviewing for the whole time, I live for this story. So please, please, for the good of my mental health, write another sequel! Keep up the amazing work :D |
Jeanne1 9/15/03 . chapter 9Erm, what about Marina? how could Gary have completely forgotten her just like that?
Still, this is a very good story, imaginative and believable. |
 miss-scarlett1 9/14/03 . chapter 9Excellent chapter, keep up the good work :D |
miss-scarlett1 9/8/03 . chapter 8Wow, I was so convinced that Marina's power was something else! It's a good one though, it's very well thought out. Excellent chapter, keep up the great work :D |
Simply Myself 9/7/03 . chapter 8Ho boy - can we say "hot tempered"? Maybe it's got something to do with the fire-breathing mutation...though in the comic book Iceman was the most firey of the X-Men.
Is Mystique going to be in this? Sorry to keep asking, but she's my favorite.

The Fire Dancer 8/31/03 . chapter 7And the plot thickens... I'm on the edge of my seat for the next chapter here! I'm loving this, THE BROTHERHOOD have a school for mutants? Awesome!
Also, I have an interesting fact/suggestion:
The comicverse character of Pyro didn't use a lighter. What he had was this backpack that had fuel or something in it, which he carried around all the time used as his flamethrower (and yes, he was heavily reliant on it). It was very, very powerful. I think he also had some sort of inbuilt 'flame shooters' in his wrists like Spiderman, but I'm not sure on that one.
I just thought you might like to incorporate this into your character, seeing as in your story Pyro is now an adult and he probably would have developed his formidable powers/weapons much further, esp. as he's the leader of the Brotherhood now. Do you know what I mean? Well anyway keep up the FANTASTIC work! |
miss-scarlett1 8/31/03 . chapter 7This is so fantastic! I love this whole new wave of characters incorporated into the old ones. I'm keen to find out the actual definition of Marina's mutation. Keep up the great work :D |
webster 8/30/03 . chapter 4 he still a mutant even if he inherited it from his father |
miss-scarlett1 8/29/03 . chapter 6Fantastic story! Sorry I didn't review sooner, but I've been in Portugal for two weeks. Lol, keep up the fantastic work :D |
