You're right, nobody EVER writes from this guy's perspective! ("This guy"...you know, he's so under-represented, I don't even know if he has a name. Well, apart from "Ryou's father" or "Mister Bakura," or perhaps "Bakura Sr.") Anyway, I loved the perspective and his thoughts on 'that boy'..."dressed like a man-**," oh lordy. I had to laugh at that.

On reflection, this reminds me of my dad's attitude when my sister started dating her boyfriend (though he looks and dresses nothing like Malik). Now that I think of that, the similarity is a little disconcerting; I suppose it's what every father goes through--gay son or not.

I totaly feel Yeten/Yaten though (Ryou's dad).

I would've did nearly the same thing if I had a gay soon and I saw Malik's smexeh self on my doorstep. Would've gave him the onceover before screaming at the top of my lungs: "You little man-** - STAY AWAY FROM MY BAYBEH!1" Then slamed the door in his damn face and engage the locks. *nodnod*
