Wow, this is really awesome. I've only read up to here 'cause I don't get on alot, but I'm definitely going to continue reading! It's really creative. If the other two POTC movies weren't already out, I'd say they should make something like this :D

I really enjoyed this story! Even with Dead Man's Chest invalidating so much of "older" fan fiction, it's still so interesting to find out what could have been. Well done!

Lol, I just HAD to drop a review and tell you how much I enjoyed this story! I think it's probably the best PotC fic I've read. You did a great job with the characters and your plot just kinda pulled me in like a pirate with his sights on a treasure...

I was really sadd to see the end, and i hope you definitely keep writing! It was great!

Ack! I hate having to stop here, but unfortunately the need for sleep arises ;p HOWEVER...I have to leave a review here telling you how much I'm enjoying this! Really I actually think that this is one of the BEST POTC fics that I have read here...and I'm eating up the angst-I adore angst, I crave it-and your fic certainly has it and it's been keeping me on the edge of my seat! I LOVE the strong friendship that you've got going on between Will and Jack, and I also like how you're letting characters like Elizabeth, Anamarie, and Gibbs have their own parts in the story too. From what I see, I'm only about halfway through so that means the plot's still heating up-especially with that evil Commodore back...you've truly created a villain here, because I know *I* for one hate his guts and am cheering on Jack to get rid of him for GOOD! I'm sitting here wondering just what Killian's up too now...and that it *can't* be good! LOL, I think I'll end my ramblings now, I *definitely* plan to finish this fic...it's too good not too!

i read this whole story in 3 days and loved it. Will is my fav character and i loved the way that he gets to meet his father. i really hope you decide to write other POTC fanfics and i will surely read them!

I just started reading this last night, and stayed up most of the night reading it.. It caught my attention so fast, it's truly a great fic! :) Good job on this! ^^

Very well written, as you are quite skilled
as a writer.

However, there is such as thing as
irreparable damage. Hanging by one's
wrists puts tremendous strain on the
ligaments and tendons in the shoulder
area. Permanently, the head of the
humerus is dislocated, the ligaments
and tendons stretched or torn, nerves
pinched and veins squeezed until the
poor soul is left with two useless arms.
Trying to relocate the humerus won't work
since the shoulder has been damaged
beyond repair. Only the skill of a
modern day operating room surgical staff
could hope to repair the damage.

Will would be an invalid the rest of
his life...unable to use his arms forever.

I realize authors need to "show" how "evil"
the bad guy is with torture, but if you
ever intend for the good guy to be healed
or "just like he was before" it would be
wise to carefully select the torture in terms
of permanent damage.

This is the best POTC story.

And...one of the most intelligent!

Though much-belated in saying so, I wanted to congratulate you on finishing this marvelous epic! I have to tell you that the final chapter had me hanging by a fingernail, and I wanted to reach right through the wires and *throttle* you when I thought Will had lost his father for good! *G* How grand it was to find a smashing great finale wherein Will gets to show what he's made of - and William Senior gets a chance to see his grandbabies come into the world. What a ride, what a tale, and what a finish. Congratulations and Well Done! :-)
