I don't think I'd read this before, but if I did, I'm sorry I forgot it. It's a great story! I love J/W/E and this is a believable sequel to the first movie. (In fact, this would have been better, I suspect - and easier to film.)

I've got this weird scenario in my head. A couple of years down the line, Norrington sparringw with the Pearl again. Finds Jack and Elizabeth AND Will on the Pearl. Norrington having a Homer Simpson "D'OH!" moment.

Except the movie takes place BEFORE the earthquake.

This fic is the first Pirates fic I read, and it remains a favorite. It's also responsible for my love of Jack/Will/Elizabeth, or the pirate ot3. :) This works so perfect as a story set after CotBP. I had to find it and favorite it.

I love this. It is absolutely amazing. I am re-reading it, and I'm glad because I missed some good stuff the first time. I love you for writing this.

I don't think I have reviewed yet, if not, I am truly sorry. The only excuse I can offer is this is so good I didn't want to take a break to review. But now, for all chapters, this is amazing! I love it so much! I am so worried for Jack and Will, and Elizabeth, and even Anamaria. She seems to be more worried for Jack than I expect she'd be. She have feelings for him other than those of a fellow pirate??

T'was a truely excellent story. I'm a little dissappointed that there isn't a sequel to it though. I guess I'll just put my already overactive imagination to work to guess at what should have happened afterwards. Anywho, it was a pleasure reading this.

This is a great story, you don't need steamy sex scenes when you've got all sorts of wonderful hints to tease the imagination with the idea that at some point steamy-ness will be happening.

Given that that the type of gun Jack carries around is not a revolver I think the explanation that they only left him with a single round was the intended one (If they'd made the mistake of thinking revolvers were around then he probably would have been carrying a colt or something). If they gave him a gun and plenty of ammo then it might be intrepreted as giving him something that might aid him in survival on a tropical island, giving him only one shot meant the ONLY use he was likely to get out of the gun was to end his own life.

Enjoying both the story and your taste in songs.

I've no objections to Jack's behavior in the first chapter, this is the guy who's answer to Will's complaints about fair play was "Pirate". He couldn't be a pirate without taking part in some piracy.

I think you did an excellent job of keeping Jack's character in tact as both a pirate and a not completely indecent human being.

Nice story, although it would have been better without the J/W touches, but it was bearable. I really liked the plot, and I agree with Elizabeth that just Jack could gift her with earrings taken from her cousin's wife...lol, Captain Jack Sparrow is so hilarious...

oh wow. i think that's all my brain is coming up with right now. this is the fanfic version of Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way. you never lost sight of who the characters really are and even those characters of your own invention fit in so seamlessly it's like they were always there and i just missed it. again i say, wow.

I liked this very much... Normally I'd go on to detail the bits I particularly liked, but I think with this fic I could go on for some time. Suffice to say, it was very enjoyable - and I loved the bits with Will and Elizabeth working things out about Jack!
