Just found your story and read it..you did a great job...the ending was perfect...

I love this story. I love it so much that I printed it (took like sixteen pages, size 10 font lines barely spaced no margins). There is really only one thing that bothers me, and it gets me every single time I read the story.

Sixth paragraph down, last line

"they’d just silently accepted that the other one was there"

should be "they'd each just silently accepted that the other one was there"

With only "they'd" they were both accepting one fact, and the other 'one' cannot be specified. Since it is seperate from the 'they'd' it couldn't mean that (this feels like a grammar logic puzzle). They each modifies the 'they'd' so that the rest of the line works in the singular.

I know that it's SUPER picky, but I just can't handle it any more. I deliberated for three chapters as to whether I should bother you about it. I just couldn't let it go.
