you've done a fabulous job on this story so far, though i must admit that you put a bit too much info into the internal monologues... and this makes the flow a bit rougher and harder to read, but other than that you've done a great job, and i can't wait to read what happens next in this story.

Excellent start, although Severus killed the Dursleys too quickly. Could you perhaps go into more detail on what caused Voldemort's transformation? What is in the story is a little unclear. Does this story involve the Horcruxes and if so did he get the one back from Harry? Like parseltongue, did the Dark Lord share an creature inheritance with Harry, or Harry share one with Tom, that just took effect or is this something caused by Fate? Hope RL treats you well and you can post again soon.

I've really enjoyed reading this chapter. I can't wait to see how Dumbledore's going explain the disappearance of Harry Potter. How will his friends react? The Wizarding World? I can't wait to see the "Great Dumbledore" fall flat on his a$$.
