If only the canon had gone like this instead of Angel losing his damned mind and getting all fixated--'cause that's all it really was, you know, a fixation--on Maternity Pants Barbie there. Eww. I mean, come on, you could SEE that she was trying to make herself more like Buffy and all so that Angel would be manipulated into THINKING that he loved her. But it didn't work, of course. We all know that Angel's last thought before he lost his soul was of the longest living Slayer. Keep hope alive, baby! Oh dear.
